Since when is it exciting news when Jessica Alba, Halley Berry, Nicole Richie, Tom Brady and other celebs think getting pregnant (=or in Tom's case, impregnating someone) without getting married is a good thing? Since when has the institution of marriage been replaced by openly sleeping around, shacking up and bearing illegitimate children? It's shameful and unGodly, and anyone who's doing it and saying they believe in God and follow His guidelines is lying.

For those like Kesha and Filthy crumb who think I'm getting into others' business, bunk you. I don't agree with this kind of behavior. It's unGodly, like I said. For those of us who love God and believe in His teachings, this type of thing is not right.

You have a good set of beliefs.Too bad everyone doesn't. Marriage should be in place and solid before children come into the picture but it doesn't always work out that way. They are role models and do contribute to the problem in my opinion.

THANK YOU. I guess Jessica's Miss Goody Two Shoes image she bent over backward to maintain, makes her feel like this particular slip up on the morality ladder is okay! When it would have looked better if they had done it like Christina Aguilera, who was a wild child who settled down into a proper marriage and has been calmly out of the tabloids for a minute! She got the bullsh-it out of her system and we hear more about e.g. Britney than her!

One thing with these celebrities, the women need to be around to actually raise their kids and be a wife...and their careers have them jetsetting allover and that is just NOT conducive to family and married life. Both folks can't have high profile high pressure jobs...somebody has to be lowkey and stable, the glue in the family.

On wall street there are many stay at home husbands cause they realize this, and the wife makes more so it made no sense for her to give up her job for good.

Many other corporate types and celebrities are eating their cake til 40 and 45 and then trying have it when only crumbs are left on the floor. And they will never as women admit that their comes a point when career clashes with family life and sacrifices HAVE to be made. So the marriage and families suffer due to selfishness.

There are 18 year old that know they want to be a housewife and have a good life. There are 35 year old successful career women who can more afford it, but are too selfish to be good wives and mothers. (And yes there are plenty young ones too selfabsorbed to be a good parent, but someone lied when they had these women believing high income and social status automatically = parent or wife material! It only means you have money!)

Hi, thats exactly true, people should be getting married and having children that way rather than through sleeping around like the celebrities these days are doing. Or even if they do get married it seems like their marriages are very short and every other day their marrying a new person. It could be due to the circumstances in Hollywood life they are put on a situation where they can't have a normal life of a caring spouse and legitimized children. They are always worried their spouse wants them for their money so they are getting prenuptial agreements which don't really prove there's any love between the two. It becomes a business arrangement rather than a marriage. A lot of celebrities are supposedly pretty so they can use this to their advantage as they wish. Regular people who have morals should not be copying this lifestyle but rather should marry someone they could see themselves living with for the rest of their life. Once they have fount their spouse and got married then to extend that love they should have children.

Ah, here go.......

To push what you believe onto other people is wrong. Preaching your point of view onto other people and how they live is wrong. Live and let live man. The only person or being anyone has to answer to is God Himself, so lets not keep bringing up how wrong people live their lives. You rather everyone who became pregnant unexpectantly get an abortion? Probably not huh, well, people make the best with what they are given, and it's no ones place to judge, because its not your life. Worry about you make sure your right so when you meet Him, you don't hold up the line by explaining everything you did wrong, or less than perfect.

i don't understand people who think of that is in basic terms a chew of paper. I honestly do not. I have not have been given any faith, so as that's not an element in my marriage determination. For me, the factor of a marriage is the criminal and social creation of a family members. i'm sorry, yet you could stay with somebody for something of your existence, however the only difficulty that makes you an entire and legitimate family members is that piece of paper. You your self referred to as your aunt's companion her "hubby" in citation marks--with the aid of fact he incredibly isn't--even with them having shared existence for 2 an prolonged time! The criminal protections afforded by way of marriage ARE important. think of of ways ill you would be if your companion have been in a poor twist of destiny, and you weren't authorized to make any judgements on his behalf or maybe get any advice considering the fact which you at the instant are not his family members. you have not have been given any rights. There are greater examples, yet it incredibly is a few thing i could not undergo if it have been to happen. bear in mind that Terri Schiavo case some years in the past--the only reason the courtroom entertained that husband's perspectives over her own make certain's exchange into that piece of paper...he exchange into criminal family members, and no remember what everybody says, while push is composed of shove, which potential an poor lot. I do love my husband better than everybody else in this earth, and subsequently i'm with him. i ought to have lived with him without being married, i assume. yet for me, nonetheless, it is in basic terms halfway, and that i do in basic terms not desire 0.5 of something.

You live your life according to your convictions.

You cannot control others or what they believe.

Even if you don't like it. To try to control others in this way, is, if you read your little Bible there, called 'witchcraft' (not the ugly lady with a pointy hat at a bubbling cauldron ).

So stop trying.

Do your best, practice what you preach, live your life as an example, and maybe someone will notice. Then again, maybe they won't. But no one died and left you in charge of who gets to convict the world of what you think is sin. That position has been filled.

You really don't have to agree with this kind of behavior. Not everyone shares your beliefs. Not everyone feels the need to get married. That's fine for you if that's what you want, but you don't really have a right to judge others based on your own belief system.

As far as celebrities I think they may be overdoing it. Other people usually have children before they marry out of love and there's nothing wrong with it. I am one of them and didn't get married til my daughter was about 1 and a half.

I think it has to do with too many women wanting divorces and not staying committed in a marriage. Alot of us growing up saw this all around us, so when we became adults we thought, why get married? She's just gonna take my house and kids 10 yrs later.

Well, I think Jessica Alba and etc are free to do their own thing in their private life as so they choose to. They are just famous, they are not saints. They never said they are and never said that they are just perfect.
