I'm not exactly sure what qualifies as an "internet affair," but I did do a lot of sexual chatting with this one woman a few years ago, but then so did my wife. So, we got together one day and had a threesome. Then we kind of lost contact with her. Therefore, I'd say it turned out pretty well -- that threesome is a treasured memory!

No, not all.
I think that Internet affairs are wrong even if you never plan on meeting the person offline because you are still emotionally or sexually attached to someone other then your partner.
If you're thinking about having an Internet affair you should probably reevaluate your marriage and find out what's wrong in your marriag that is making you have these thoughts.

I really don't get that-an affair requires a physical connection-not a mental one-that's called fantasy

The few I've had turned out to be men posing as women...what a bummer.

I'd be very careful of everything he (she?) says and try to check it out.

It can be fun but you can get hurt...be careful and Good Luck

Pffft...an internet affair is like kissing a broad through a pane of glass.
It fascinates me that some people would take the time to type out 'oooooo' and 'ahhh' while fondling themselves and even take the time to text, type, cyber...whatever you want to call it when you live in Rhode Island and your internet 'lover' is in Montana. Christ...you may as well be in Egypt and Outer Mongolia for chrissakes.

Start something with anyone closer and its bound to lead to trouble.

Well I met someone and had a nice relationship for a while but we just didn't have the same things in common and parted friends. I think it was good to have met her.
