My sister and her fiance are engaged to be married next year. She is 22 and still in law school, which our parents pay for with very little trouble (they're fairly wealthy). Since the engagement is fairly recent she has not yet spoken to our parents regarding the impact of the marriage on her tuition: she thinks that since she's poor and our parents are rich and have always encouraged her not to work during the school year, they should continue paying her tuition. I think that if she's getting married, then that's a statement of responsibility on her part, and she should be paying her own tuition, regardless of how easily our parents can pay for it. I'm sure if she asked they would tell her that they would still pay, but I think it's a matter of principle. Am I being unfair? Who's right?

Here's the situation:
There is a woman in my husband's life, his "good friend." In the past before we met they hooked up. When I met her she gave me the evil eye but later on acted like she wanted to be friendly with me. We all went to a concert together & I did a little too much partying and got pretty sick, had my head down the whole time. Apparently while I was sick 2 feet away, she made the moves on my him-sitting on his lap, tickling him, trying to hold his hand- in front of my sister! He admits this happened but he told her to stop. Since then he still insists on having contact with her. When she calls he won't talk to her in front of me but goes outside. He had me check an email of his last month and right below it I saw one from him to her just chit-chatting, but it really bothered me since he says he hasn't talked to her in months. I don't think he's having an affair, but I want him to cease contact with this woman and he won't do it. Am I wrong to be so upset??

My soon to be ex is going into treatment because he cannot stop drinking. He wants to see the kids while he is there but I don't want my kids to see him like that. Should I? I think he would be in the hospital. Thanks

Ive been with my boyfriend for 5 years and living together for 3 but recently I havent been able to stop thinking about someone else and this is making me increasingly think about leaving my boyfriend. This other person is exactly what I want in a person, wants a family, romantic etc the opposite of my current partner. The only thing is when I came to university my partner deided to come with me, it wasn't an issue at the time but now it is as I'm thinking of leaving him but I don't want to 1) Hurt him and 2) leave him with no job, no home and no money as at the moment I am paying for everything with my wages and he has been unemployed for 2 years saying that there are no jobs for him and he doesn't want 2 take any job where he will be unhappy. He doesn't know anyone here so I feel so guilty when I think of what leaving him will do to him, Im scared he will do something to himself if I go as his family are 3 hours away and he cant drive. Im stuck in such a rut I don't know what to do.

my fiance of 4 years has been cheating on me with one of my coworkers. we also work together. hes been cheating with her for about three months. i just found this out two weeks ago. and i also found out hes been cheating with his ex girl friend. im now finding out about another coworker. would i be a damn fool to work it out with him. or should i just move on. he broke down crying saying how sorry he is and he will change and never do it again. hes begging me not to leave him. i have three kids that look up to him as their dad. they love him so dearly. and he says he love us so much. i do believe he love us. i dont think he knows how to be faithful. and i love him to. but the images in my head of him is sickning. my heart is broken and so is my trust. we had a happy home. and i know i didnt do anything to cause him to cheat. i am so confused right now. i dont know what to do. i want to hate him but my heart wont let me. the pain is telling me to leave but my heart is telling me to stay

My husband and I fight all the time. He's hardly ever nice to me anymore, just sarcastic and hateful. He won't sleep with me anymore. It's ridiculous. We're only 25 and we have a one year old. I quit doing things for him like HIS laundry and cooking for him because he never does anything for us. He hardly ever plays with our son and he never takes us anywhere or wants to spend time doing things with us. He complains if I want to take our son to the park. He never helps around the house and says that he "doesn't do housework" even though all he has to do is go to work (easy work, mind you) and sleep. So, he doesn't act like a husband/father, so I stopped acting like a wife. We've only been married 2½ years, does this ever end? I just want to be happy..

I know you are not getting his side of the story, but he sees no problems in our relationship and all I see are problems. So..he doesn't think we have anything we need to work on. He thinks it's perfectly alright not to sleep together, hug, kiss, tell each other I love you, etc. Among other things, I found out he has a bank account I never knew about and when I ask about it he gives very vague answers. When I ask why my name isn't on it with his, he says, "So." We have been married almost 9 years and the only reason I think I haven't took the kids and moved out is because I don't have the money to and no place to go.

I live in Salt lake city Utah and my ex husband pays me 250.00 a month now. However since the time of our divorce he now makes 110.000 a year. I am reluctant to push the matter due to the fact that it will cause a fight and we get along great right now, but I could really use the money. We have joint custody, however due to the fact that he works so much he only takes her on Sat. and Sun.. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Although I love him I really want a child and we have had psycho sexual counselling together at relate. At the time he blamed me as I was a virgin when we married. Once we got to the point where he has to perform he just got stuck.It was like throwing money down the toilet so we stopped going to counselling as the counsellor acknowledged he was not moving forward. Whenever I talk about leaving he says he will change but never does.
Now I am determined to leave and have found a flat share he says he will kill himself...my friends say I should just have an affair to loose my virginity and get some practice and not rock the boat..I don't want to commit adultery..I feel so bad...but I really want a child and I don't want the guilt should he try and harm himself..his uncle committed suicide years ago..they say it can run in families..what would you do?

Been married for a long time with 2 grown up children. Not sure if i am making big mistake by going with this younger man. Should i at my time of life (44 yrs old) not be putting my efforts into sorting out what was a good marriage instead of daydreaming of running off into the sunset with a younger man ???? My husband is having some surgery done next week, something to do with his stomach. Although I have been seeing someone else and he knows about it he still asked me to be with him the day of the surgery, the whole day. I told him that I had no problem with taking him in the morning but that I really didn't want to spend the whole day sitting around while he is being operated on as it supposed to take several hours and you know how hospital are, it always takes longer. He made me feel very guilty for not wanting to stay. He is supposed to be in the hospital for several days so its not like he needs a ride home. What does he want from me?

My husband is insisting for me to wear only cotton or natural fabrics only! This probably seems silly but it is driving me crazy because most of my wardrobe is not cotton! Not only that but we are just starting out and neither of us have enough money to go out and buy a new wardrobe for me. He has mentioned it at least three times in as many weeks! When I asked him the reason behind it he just told me it will be better for me! I don't know what his real reason is but this is so ridiculous to me! Does anyone else think this is strange?

Can anyone tell me the advantages of wearing only cotton clothing so that I can at least find some solid reason for following through with what he wants - since he can't give me one of his own?

When we were in the grocery my husband leaned over to kiss me on the cheek and looked at some other woman in the process! When I looked up at him (thinking 'Oh my husband is such a sweetheart :D' he wasn't even looking at me - his eyes were looking at someone else!) I got upset but when we got in the car I just told him, with a smile and a laugh, that it wasn't a very nice thing to do, and it wasn't respectable - no yelling, nothing like that! Well he completely denied doing anything, and ladies you know when they do that we just get more angry... So of course this ended in a full blown argument! We had driven separately so by the time we got home we were both calmed down and we just sat together and talked about it - he said he was sorry for turning his eyes elsewhere, but that I shouldn't try to control where he looks (not that I am trying to do that). And of course I apologized for getting too upset about this issue... Now I feel bad because the argument ruined a our beautiful day..

My bf of 8 years accussed me of having sex with three men this weekend . We have been through so much but in the last week i told him that he had one more tim to mess with me and i would go emotionless and that notthing would matter anymore. Well he did it , I told him if he said it againr that i would do it and take pictures so he had proof instead og just accusing me all the time . We are both 35, self-sufficient, educated and have no major flaws, it just seems we don't want or can't mesh our lives together. It sucks but sometimes I feel like I need to just be alone forever. What if I just made a mistake and he isn't the one? Does the "ONE" exist?

It's been six months and sexually everything was great until recently. He could go on a long time and up to 3 x's in a day......it was awesome. Lately, he's been a 2-minute man and then he falls asleep! The first time it happened, I was understanding, the second time, I was mad. I asked him what is going on and he says that it's just too good (I think that's a cop out) and that he's more relaxed w/me. I told him he better work on his concentration and yada yada yada, basically made him feel like crap, but I was frustrated at the moment. He apologized and said he'll work on it. We have lived in our house for over 3years. Well a family recently moved in next door to us. They have been relatively friendly and we have not had any problems. Yesterday I come home and find the husband in my back yard that is fenced with a gate. He had cut a huge limb out of my tree that was supposedly hanging over his garage. My question is this? Is he responsible for cleaning up the mess or am I? He cut it down, let it fall and left. I am quite mad about it. But my husband does'nt want to start anything with them. Also and I know this is minor but the last time the guy sprayed he also decided to spray a little he had left around our yard. Am I overeacting or not. Because I think he's being presumtuous and pushy. So please give me advice on this.
