I am in love with a man from work though i am married and still living at home.?

Question

Been married for a long time with 2 grown up children. Not sure if i am making big mistake by going with this younger man. Should i at my time of life (44 yrs old) not be putting my efforts into sorting out what was a good marriage instead of daydreaming of running off into the sunset with a younger man ???? But cant get him out of my system !!

What is wrong with your marriage? Why are you ready to run away from your marriage rather than find out what you are missing in your marriage?

Age has nothing to do with this issue. Everyone likes to use age as an excuse to either run away or justify not running. The real issue is how did you get here? What has changed in your marriage and can you change it back? Work on your marriage. Figure out if it has always been bad or it changed. If it was always bad, then you should have long ago divorced. If it has changed, then you can change it back or adjust it to your current life situation.

First of all you are already married and have grown children together and if you have been with your husband all these years than the marriage must have been good along with some bad times, you already know your husband ways and trying to get use to someone else ways may not be fore you.

I heard on a radio station Dr. James Dobson said you will meet alot of people in your lifetime that you are drawn to and attracted to but you pick one and stay committed. The committment is what will sustain you and keep you in friendship and companionship throughout ALL your years not just the healthy ones. I bellieve that was the smartest statement I've ever heard. by asking this question i believe u're not that type who refuses to listen to orthodox and conventional advise like this one. u know u're doing it wrong. it's just that u're bored with ur usual life that's why u're preferring this so called 'thrill' in life. may be this young guy is more interesting than ur husband. but think abt what will happen to this young guy when he matures and starts getting bored with u? may be he's at his experimenting mood now and wants to try new things out.
