I don't think there is such a person as a so called soul mate. I think you kiss many frogs until you finally find your prince, but is he a "soul mate"? Nah he's just a little better than the rest of them.
Brad Pitt can eat crackers in my bed anytime!!!!!!!

Yes, but circumstances happen too. My first soul mate died and I am now with my second soul mate. When I sometimes think about it, if my first husband didn't pass away, what our lives would be like today. We didn't have children together and I have three with my second husband and I think, man, these kids wouldn't be here if he didn't pass away. Life can be so crazy that way. As for Brad Pit, who cares, he's another one of those men who doesn't respect marriage, he's already divorced and he went on to the next woman right away. Why would I want someone who has no respect for marriage to be my soul mate? Just because a man is sexy, famous and rich, doesn't mean all of us women want someone like that. Most celebrities marriages fail.

No, I do not believe there is only one soul mate. There are millions of people out there for each gender, so there are plenty that could be "soul mates." I'm personally not into getting married, but I do enjoy having the man I have now because I feel we are soul mates. I have never felt as compatible with someone as I do with him and would like to be with him forever. I would never leave him to find another man that I might be compatible with even if it was Brad Pitt.

I believe you're right there's more than one soul mate out there but when you date around and find a great one and you marry it's for the committment.Once the physical rush subsides you hang on for love friendship and stability. Someone to grow old with and share every life experience. I also believe you will at some point run into someone else you will be attracted to but you have choices to stay the course of committment or follow your wandering eye. Start alll over again but why? It's a no win situation. Commiting is way more rewarding. What a warm feeling security is!

Okay, I am a guy, but this is a pet-peeve of mine so I have to answer. Lets say that is true. There is one soul mate for everyone, but just so happens your soul mate is an Eskimo. Or say he is an Al-Qaeda terrorist. It is so convenient for everyone to say that their soul mate is either within the vicinity or one of them will move and bump into the other. I love my wife and we are great mates, but neither of us are so naive to think that we couldn't be just as happy with someone else. That gives us the comfort of knowing that everyday we choose to be with who we are with and fate didn't pre-determine that we be together. Why is it also that so many people believe they have found their soul mate and then later either break up or divorce them (many of them due to infidelity because they think they found their "real" soul mate). I mean c'mon people. Call it like it is, and don't just chalk everything up to "fate." Have some responsibility in your choices and do your best to make the right one.

First off, I found my soul mate and have been with him for 38 years. Second I wouldn't even consider Brad Pitt, he showed his true colors when he left his wife who loved him dearly for a tart. There is no point in getting married if you are not willing to put in the time and work to have a lasting relationship.

There are any number of soulmates, and anyone of them would work..
Women can afford the luxury of waiting because we have the hot commodity ( if a girl wants to mate, 4 out 5 will accept her invitation.)
As for Brad Pitt, not interested nor any other person of celebrity.. Too much ego..

lol no I don't want Brad Pitt. I do beleive there is that one special person for everyone. You don't have to get married at all. It's just tradition to get married but that doesn't mean you have to. I'm not married but if I do get married I would want to becasue I love him and that I want to make a family with him.
