I have been married for 18 years. Most very happy. Three years ago my husbands brother died at age 44. It changed my husband so much. He now has become very distant. He doesn't talk much to me..he buries himself in his computer and t.v. He has no interest in sex. I am not certain it all began with the death of his brother...I am just trying to figure it out. He is changing more and more each day. He stays at work late and won't even call to tell me he is working late. When he arrives in the driveway, he stays in his car talking on his cell phone to his mother. Then he comes in the house and barely says a thing. I have suggested counseling but he says "If you have a problem, see a counselor. But I don't have a problem." I know we can't afford a counselor, but I was willing to try anything that might help.
We have two children and I need to try and help him and our relationship for the sake of the children as well as my sanity. I feel so lonely and unloved. Advise please.

we have been married for 14 yrs.My husband respcts me and he protects me.He trust me with all his heart. He has never raised a hand to me or even his voice for that matter. He loves and has raised my children from a previous relationship as his.I pity anyone who puts me or the kids down and to challange him about me is a fight you will lose because no matter what,i am right in his eyes. ''WHY?'' you ask does he treat me this way.. BECAUSE HE LOVES ME.
I see these questions where the EX is trying to horn back in and the kids are allowed to dis respect and curse and run over the current wife.I cannot belive these ''men'' allow this to happen to his wife and I cant belive she took it the first time! Thats no way to live my sisters.GO,find what makes you happy and safe. It does not have to be a man either, but if it is a man make it a good one.
God Bless and Good luck to all !!!!

my husband drank to much, and began to become a little to friendly with my friend. Hugging, touching, and laid on my couch with her. The next day he said it was nothing. He has nothing for her, and is not attracted to her. He feel sorry for her b/c her husband gives her no attention (truly). At 1st it was funny, but then I began to get pissed off. He tells me I am his only one, but I still have that in my mind & it is hard to get it out. I'm just looking for some advice. He tells and show me he loves me, and I do believe him.

even though I am married with a child now. I don't know why I still think about this old boyfriend, even dream about him sometimes, except that our relationship was very intense, although short. We almost got married - and I'm glad we did not, it would have been a huge mistake.
I love my husband very, very much and I feel almost unfaithful thinking about someone else. How do I get this old boyfriend out of my head for good?

Hi, was married for 7 years. Had 3 kids in that time. Husband walked out and demanded divorce with no warning when youngest was just 10 weeks old. Wants a new Harley and probably someone half our age on the back of it. (We are both 36.) I do not know where to start. Do not trust men anymore. Doubt my own worth...was discarded like yesterdays trash. Any advice? Thank you.

I discovered my spouse cheated with a coworker once. I found emails that they were sending back and forth. This happened a few months before our one year anniversary. He denied it at first, but I kept pushing and pushing until he admitted it. It hurt me so bad because he is the type of man that would never hurt a woman. This was a total shock to me. I forgave him because we have been together for over 8 years and we have a beautiful family. We happened to be going through some tough times in our relationship, but not to the point where either of us wanted to call it quits. Every couple has their moments. I find it very difficult to forget especially since they work in the same place. She actually had the nerve to say she was falling in love with him. This ***** knew he was married with children, but obviously didn't care. She said all the right things to boost his ego, which made him even more vulnerable. I love him and he definitely loves me, but how can I get this out of my mind?

I've been married for almost 3 years. I love my husband- but he doesn't act like he really appreciates me- he's not very affectionate- and I feel like he takes me for granted. He's gotten lazy about doing stuff around the house, and he often puts off my requests for sex. Anyway- my question is this. I have another man that I see several times a week, and well, he makes me feel so smart and so appreciated. I'm trying so hard not to have feelings for him, but I can't help feeling something. The way he looks at me and treats me just makes me feel like a teenager again (you know that first crush, innocent feeling). It just feels good to have someone to talk to. I can't stop being around him- any suggestions on how I can get beyond my feelings? I don't want to cheat on my husband- there's no way I can avoid being around this man.

I'm not upset about it...I've had fantasies where he is banging other girls...he knows my fantasies...what is it about guys? Is it the variety? I thought I did a pretty good job sending him the photos...I suppose it just hurts a bit...Not angry. Won't ever try to stop him from looking...I just want to know the reason.

My sister and her husband have 2 kids together, for the last 8 months they havent been living together, dont know why they didnt get a divorce (i live outta state) but he hit her or something before and she pressed charges, they bought a new car for her when she had her first child but then she got in an accident and the money that wasw received just paid the car off, since then HE bought truck but it was in his name but it was hers while living at my moms for her to be able to get around. well they went to court yesterday and since they are gonna be going through with a divorce, the judge knew she had the truck and he was told he cant come around her for like a year, but until the divorce is final nothing can be sold that was bought together. well today i found out that he sold the truck to his aunt and my mom didnt have the court order so the cops let him and his aunt take the truck. what would happen now? since he sold the truck that he wasnt supposed to? anyone know?

Husband fixes car that wasn’t working so that W. who’s ill/can’t work can take his adult sons (from prior marriage) to/from school & work each day (they could ride the bus but Husband says no) . One wk into the nonstop chauffeuring, W. forgets to pic 22 yr old up at school… H. calls W. enraged that she’s an hour late. He calls her back 15 minutes later, she hasn’t left, assures him that she’s leaving now. He hangs up on her screaming “Forget it!! I’ll pick him up!!” He leaves his (self-employed) job, sees her arrive at exactly the same time but gives her the silent treatment & tells his son ride w/him. On way home W. has flat tire. She doesn’t call H. Puts air in, 2xs still goes flat. Later H ticked re flat/damaged rim. He calls her “stupid”, says she “meant to damage” his car...W cries. Then says, "This was yr bad Karma so, God said, 'Since you are being an azz about 1 simple mistake. KEEP GOING to get your son b/c I'll take her vehicle' so ha-ha!" H says "*** you" & hangs up on her

Ok, my husband is in the military and is in Pennsylvania at school, he leaves for Iraq
when he gets done in a week. Right now, in my eyes (and please tell me
if I am wrong!) he is being completely selfish. He has gone out and
partied for the past two nights with a bunch of the other guys. I dont
know what he's doing and I am sure I dont want to know, but I have
been trying to get a hold of him for the past hour and he has turned
his phone off. Our bank account is also currently in the negative
because of his partying habits. Is this common? I feel like he is only
thinking of himself and what he wants to do...he hasn't always been
the most faithful husband. I am scared. What should I do and do you
think my feelings are justified? Or am I just being a witch because he
gets to go out and I am stuck here pregnant with the kids??

We will have joint physical custody. So if we live in the same school district, what is the best for my two sons? A week with me, a week with her....a month with me, a month with her... seasonal...school year vs. summer..I will be paying minimal child support, as we both work.

How come men hit on women when they have on a ring. Even when you show it to them they don't care. Are alot of men like that? I always feel uncomfortable and stunned that the guy doesn't just shut up after he sees the ring.

When I mentioned before about wives getting spanked, mouths washed out with soap, corner time, essay writing etc. as punishments when the wife is bad or disobedient it seems that some people thought this was domestic abuse or BDSM. Let me clarify that domestic abuse and BDSM is clearly not what this is about. Let me define it this way:
Domestic discipline (DD) is the practice of disciplining a wife with an emphasis on spanking as a punishment. This is distinct from both domestic abuse, and activities such as erotic spanking and domination and submission. When ideally implemented, DD is the loving, consistent use of discipline as a positive way to enhance communication, deepen intimacy and reinforce relationship commitment. The discipline would normally include physical punishment but centers around rules of behavior laid down by the husband and nominally agreed to by the wife.

Now when I said these girls were into DD with their husbands I can understand this part but my......

My fiance told me there is nothing wrong with a married/engaged guy going out for a coffee with a girl if it's business related. Do you think it is right for a married/ enaged man to go out like that? My fiance plans on going back to school. And asked me if I'd get jelouse if he is out with a study partner. I told him if it was a guy he is studying with I would have no problem but if it was a girl I might get jelouse. Then asked me what if a girl sits next to him in class and that she is paired up with him as a study partner? Do you think that is asking for unwated trouble? Last year when were were dating he took pics with 17 year old girls his co-workers and him met at a club in South America while on busines. I was jelouse when he showed me the pics. Because my honey is 37. He said those girls only liked his 20 year old co-worker and he told those girls that they should be in school and nothing happened. But I didn't like him taking pics of teen girls. I am I insecure?

Me and my girlfriend want to get married someday. She is a devout Catholic, who wants to raise the kids that way. I am nondenominational and feel that my church is more open than a Catholic one. We are trying to find alternative arrangements that let us share both our faiths with our kids.

I'm separated and devastated (for 6 months). I have forgiven my wife for all but one thing. She never tried once to work on our 14 year marriage with two kids. I wasn't an abuser or a drunk.... We just took each other for granted. She wants nothing but to divorce and live a happy life in a townhouse with her two kids (50/50 custody). She was very religious and this goes against everything we believe in. I'm so sorry for my part of this mess yet she won't even try for the sake of the kids, friends, or good memories..... nothing! We had a good life, I am fit, and we had fun in the bedroom. Right now, if this ends in divorce, I feel that I can't forgive her and won't even speak to her ever again.
-If I have any contact at all it will be through email or something and only for the kids. I have forgiven her for the affair, not communicating her feelings and being bitter with me.

I left him, and we have remained friends. He's rich, but I never fell in love, so I left him. He has been dating the same girl since we split, but has never expressed marraige-type feelings. I'm in a relationship, I love my BF very much, but he's the guy who says he'll "never get married"... so why do I feel like I'm missing out now that my ex is getting married?
