When I mentioned before about wives getting spanked, mouths washed out with soap, corner time, essay writing etc. as punishments when the wife is bad or disobedient it seems that some people thought this was domestic abuse or BDSM. Let me clarify that domestic abuse and BDSM is clearly not what this is about. Let me define it this way:

I think some people need help.
Since when did disciplining a mature woman seem like part of a equal marriage.
More disturbing was the "rules laid down by husbands, and nominally agreed to by wives". Very disturbing, it may not seem like BDSM, but it sure has hell is dominion and immaturity on both the husband's and wife's parts.
They shouldn't even be married in the first place if this kinda things take place... unless its some form of kinky play.

I would love to see anyone try to wash my mouth out with soap. Now a little spanking at the appropriate time would be more than acceptable. Seriously I could never live like that. Marriage is an equal partnership, I am not the submissive type.

I'm not sure what planet you're from, but last time I checked, here on EARTH, women are human beings too! Seriously...I am floored that you actually think that this "DD" you talk about is acceptable.
Maybe I'll start a new discipline called "HD"...it will go as follows... When husband is a complete and total idiot, wife will LOVINGLY wrap a rubberband around his testicles until they start to turn blue. When husband forgets to do his defined household duties, wife will LOVINGLY force him to wash his mouth out with laundary detergent. And worst of all, when husband talks back to wife or goes against wishes, wife will tie husband's hands behind his back, rub maple syrup on his genitals and rear end and LOVINGLY force him to stand over a fire ant hill for ten minutes...what do you think ladies?

"DD" sounds rather inappropriate. It sounds like a sick way to be "daddy" to your wife. Your wife is a grown woman, you are not having to raise her. You can enhance communication by taking turns talking and listening, not by spanking. If you start spanking & punishing her like a child, she will turn into a child. Do you really want her to fear you? She won't love you because she wants to, she will love you because she feels she has to.

You think people misunderstood you, Ha, I think not. How could any NORMAL person get this wrong. Anyway you say it, it's sick. Get professional help and take your wife with you if she likes being treating like something you stepped in.If not, she should run as fast as she can and get far, far away from you and your bar of soap, cause no amount of washing is going to make you clean!

Have you been drinking and playing on your mom's computer? You are crazy for writing such a thing!!! Your line of thinking sets society back thousands of years. If it is alright for you to discipline a woman then it should be alright for the wife to discipline you with a good lashing of constantine wire when you are bad.

You seriously need some relationship counseling. Well, maybe not, because with an attitude like this it is unlikely that you will ever enter or stay in a sustaining, loving relationship. I suggest you see a psychiatrist or psychologist and find out why you have the need (or think you have the right) to control other adults.
