I suppose that I should not like to get a mosquito bite on my face on one of the most important (if not the most important) day of my life either; unfortunately, as a man, I won't have the luxury of a fancy mosquito net when I get married...assuming that's the veil's real purpose.

You have been dating this guy for a while, and then you guys break up. For months the two of you have always been nice in the emails, and ended your emails with sweet little nothings or just your first name. Now that you have broken up you send him an email, but this time even though he was still nice in the email he ended it with writing his full name and then typed "signing off" as though he was being professional. I sent him a normal everyday kind of email. Are we professional now?

And no I was not expecting the sweet little nothings, but just a 1st name like we use to do. That's what I did. He said lets be friends, and this has been the only time I contacted him since the break up, and the email was sharing something good with me. It was a 1-liner and it did not discuss us at all in any way. If he did it to tell me to back off why did he even answer because there were two before this about us that he did not answer on the day of the break up.

My cousin's wife left my cousin recently. She said he was "fat & had no personality" as far as I was told. My mom doesn't want me 2 get involved in this as much as I want to. My cousin emailed me saying that his wife left him...& that's all that was in there...just 4 words...I don't know if I should email him back...& If I should, I don't know wht to say to him...plz tell me wht I shud say that would console him.....my mom told me not to email him since he's upset already & I shouldn't bug him and make him more upset. What should I do? How can I make my cousin feel better? He had been with his wife for 6 years & I thought she was pretty nice...but all of a sudden, this happened. Plz help me out !

My husband and I have been having issues that are not being resolved, and I've been trying to figure them out for 2 years, I am tired and told my husband that we need to go back to counseling and get our issues resolved or we need to let ach other go, he really listened to me, did not argue or interrupt me, he did not walk away as he usually would. When i was done talking we hugged and then he grabbed me passionately and ws kissing me tightly. I have a hard time reading body language and interrupting what it means. Why the passionate kissing? Did he just not listen to a word I said and just wanted to be physical? Or was it the type of thing were like "wow I really respect her for standing up for herself?" What does the passionate kissing mean after my long talk? Can someone tell me what it means?

I know men would prefer to "do it" without using a condom (personally I prefer it too), but....does it really make a difference in the way it feels?

I'm thinking chocolate brown suits with pale pink cravats and waistcoats. but my soon to be hubby isnt sure. i dont want to make him wear it cos its his day as mush as mine and i dont want him to look at the photos thinking he hated the colour and that i pushed him into it. Our big day is next autum so i think brown would look lovely with pastel colours and autum flowers.

What rights do homosexuals have as opposed to a heterosexual marraige? Are the rights and benefits the same? Are they slightly different? Im curious being Bisexual myself, i always wondered how marriage between two people of the same sex really works out.

Then the quotes:

In the religious address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney last month, Sheik Hilali said: “If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?”

“The uncovered meat is the problem.”

I know someone that is a great person, but is unfaithful. His spouse knows about it, but just pretends it doesn't happen. Do you think that it's just not possible for some people to be totally faithful to their spouse? Please answer maturely and don't attack; this person is a family member of mine and is otherwise a wonderful person. Have you known people like this?

he stopped doing it in the past few months. He says he has no more interest in me sexually but just has affections for me (more so, the guilt of hurting me). He wants me to leave him and says his feelings for me have gone, though he does call me (we are temporarily living in diff towns) and keep crying to me about what a good wife I am. But last time, he pointed out loads of my bad habits and said they put him off.

I dont know, is it his sexual incapability that may be making him act this way? Or could it be vice versa- his secret hatred towards me which made him inactive in the first place!

cant even go to a counsellor if he is adamant it wont work!

This Friday my husband and I finally get a free night. We have two kids and they will both be gone over night Friday. It is the first time in a long time that we will have a night without kids. We definently want to go on a "date" and do something but we can't seem to figure out what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

We are a newly married couple (2-1/2 months), early 30's and are not drinkers or partyers. We just like being together and want to get out and do something fun. Alot of times because of the kids we rent movies and stay in.

They play in a band together. She was calling 3 to 4 times a day and emailing often. Her emails crossed the line by opening with "hi handsome" and closing with "kisses" and being flirtatious in between. I've confronted both was was told it meant "nothing" they are "just friends". They continue to email and talk on the phone but I'm told the flirting has stopped. They continue to play in the same band. I'm not possessive at all and have never been before, but this doesn't feel right....any advice?
