This Friday my husband and I finally get a free night. We have two kids and they will both be gone over night Friday. It is the first time in a long time that we will have a night without kids. We definently want to go on a "date" and do something but we can't seem to figure out what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

We are a newly married couple (2-1/2 months), early 30's and are not drinkers or partyers. We just like being together and want to get out and do something fun. Alot of times because of the kids we rent movies and stay in.

Go have dinner somewhere.
Another cool thing to do is to get a massge together.
Go for a walk in the moonlight.
Go watch a XXX movie.
Go to a lingerie store and have fun.
Go and make out somewhere other than home.
Go visit some friends.
Most of all...tell eachother how much you love one another.

You guys have only been married two months and you do not have anything to do when the children are gone? Oh my...........What a long, long road ahead of you!

I have been married foe 15 years and the same thing happened to us last weekend. I was really worried about what we were going to do.......We got in our couch clothes......Watched 4 hours of cops..........After the first couple of hours I was like "Aren't you board?" and he said "No" So I got up and went to bed! (Oh dear god.....That is really, really pothetic.....Isn't it!)

Seriously.............Go to a nice resteraunt, movie theater, just walk around the mall and get X-Mas ideas.......When you have kids no matter what you do........Even the grocery store alone can be nice.

Good grief... it's Halloween weekend... surely there is something you two can involve yourselves in... a cornmaze, if there is one in your area, is great fun in the evening, and it gives you time to listen to the noise of each other, not a 'movie'. A hayride, a haunted house... I would think it would be worth traveling a bit, if need be, for something truly different and memorable.
