yes I do.
We have been through some tough spot over the years, and yet, she has supported (without being nosy) my honey and mine decisions.. AND for the most part is unbiased in arguments. Normally in past relationships (with other women and her son) she has always taken the side of her son and never the girl friend's side. For her to see both sides and give her opinion and not always take his side show that she cares about us both as a couple.
We go shopping and like similar things (age gap is the same between me and my grand mother) like to read and enjoy the same books... she all so is and arts and craft addict as myself. We have commen grounds and are MANY years apart but I think that is what helps us to get along so well. She has alot of incite that I do not have.
We have also gotten in to our fair of spats too... and we work through them, and can still love each other... this is rare for me because I have never love any ones mom's besides my own unconditionally.

When I was married to her son I thought we had a good relationship but I found out she didn't like me (6 years) now that we are divorced and now me and her son are back together again I Love Her because shes a strong woman & we helped each other thru a difficult time and if me and her son dont remarry i hope we can stay this close.. We had a great day on Monday even though it was under a bad circumstance... I just show her now that i appreciate her.. Plus she hates his last ex as much as I do so it makes it fun...lol

For the same reason every woman should love her mom-in-law - she raised a fine son who grew up into a wonderful man who married me!

No...it is impossible to love my mother-out-law. First she was abandoned by her own mother who left her to chase her cheating run a way drunken father and never saw her again till she was 17. She married my drunken sly and lazy father in law whom she spent her entire marriage catering to so that he wouldn't leave her. He stayed and drank himself senseless and she joined him in that activity. Both were terrible liars and drunks for 40 years till he finally died. She continues to drink and lie and be nasty. She's divided her two sons permanently, forgets what was and is done for her and grateful for nothing. She has no contact with her grandchildren...and lives with her lying, thieving gay son who managed to obtain all the family assets after neglecting her for years. Now I hope she lives forever in her demented mental and brittle physical state. Knowing him I know he'll dump her off at any nursing home as soon as he can figure out a way for the State to pay her full expenses.

I love mine, me and her get along great. I am not saying that we haven't had out problems, but we just work them out and go on. She treats me just like the daughter she never had, which is the same way she treats her other daughter-in-law. She doesn't try to interfere with my relationship which is a big help.

My mother in law is great! I love her! She is nice, funny and understanding. When my husband (separated and considering divorce) and I argues or fights, she is ALWAYS on my side and back me up :-) She even wants to live with me and help me take care my so while I work! I am so lucky and fortunate to have mother in law like her!

I would say be happy if you even have a mom in law. My husband's mom died 7 years ago, and I never had the chance to meet her. I would give anything to be able to have meet her and have her hate me.

Yes. She's just like a mother to me, possibly even more. I can tell her things I wouldn't imagine telling my own mom, I can talk to her on a friendly level but still have a more mature opinion on things. She's a great person.

I do not love my mother in law. In fact, I dont even like her. I have been married to my husband for 14 years and he too has no use for her. She treats her daughter like gold and my husband like crap ( he is a constant reminder of her first marriage to his father whom she hates). She plays good grandma to his sisters kids while hardly recognizing ours. She can piss off as far as I am concerned.
