Prenups, postnups whatever...

I do believe those getting married... providing you are wealthy when entering a marriage. I hate to admit it and even type it. But Yes..It is what it is. For example: this horrible nasty divorce that involving Paul McCarthy and his estrange wife. Do you honestly think she's entitle to half his fortune? I say no. Because most of his wealth was earned before she even entered into the picture. I could see if she was there from the beginning but they have been only married for 3-4 years. Why should she be entitle to half is fortune? I do believe that she's entitle to the moneys that have been accumulated during the marriage, and she's entitle to alimony to help maintain her lifestyle during the marriage. But not half his fortune.
I believe that a prenup should be drawn up unless the person has money when entering a marriage. My opinion..

I feel that there's a time and place for them. I personally have absolutely nothing against; my husband and I considered a pre-nup, and consulted a laywer - but it turned out that everything we wanted to put in there was already protected under the state laws. So we gladly scrapped the idea, it sounded like it would take a bunch of time and money to draw one up.

I feel you should protect yourself but if you really feel you can't trust them then don't marry them. Definitely do not let a person who came in with nothing take everything you own.

I would agree with it. Of course I don't have crap so it really wouldn't matter.
