Was married to a spendthirft in a comunity property state. She's in jail and was on the run for 3 months before I could get her to sign the divorce papers. My car had been repo'd. I live with a friend. The creditors won't stop calling. I a working 60 hours a week but can't seem to get ahead. Total bills she racked up that I know about: $50-55k. I just want to get a fresh start and move out of this state and begin my life again, but don't want to shirk responsibility. Once more, I just got out of the hospital and have no insurance. Thought about suicide but I know I've got to face this. I used to have such great credit. Now I eat 3 days a week at the most. I don't know what else to do...

What do you do when your first true love chose someone else out of a stupid mistake and has been begging for forgiveness for 7 years and you know you love them and they love you ack. You know that you are supposed to be with this person but now you are in a relationship, you love the person you are with but dont fell that you are in love with them? I love my first love and my fiance but my first loved wants to get married and so does my fiance, but I still love my first love and I feel that I am not in love with my fiance. Should I leave my fiance for my true love or should I stay b/c I made a commitment and I could possibly regret leaving????? Please help me. I know I want to be with my true love but I am afraid of making the wrong decision.

My husband has a female friend at work that would gladly step into my shoes. He's even said so and in the same breath tells me not to worry, he knows she's someone he needs to steer clear of. She constantly sends him emails, calling him honey and signing them "love you". He denies receiving these emails, denies speaking with her on a regular basis and simply avoides the subject of her in general, yet I know they communicate regularly. I've told him I'm bothered by this and that he is not telling me the complete truth and it makes me insecure and ruins 25 years of trust. How can I get my point across to him that she needs to be out of the picture all together since she is damaging our relationship! Its not the female part (he has other female friends that aren't psycho) - its the infatuation she has with him. Am I just over reacting? Do all guys have little email/phone female friends on the side?

I regret so many things. Most of all, I regret ever trusting my wife. I was over her when she sucked me back into her web. Then, I find out she cheated on me. I was OVER HER. Now, seven years later, after I've been eating leftovers, I look like a complete fool in front of everyone, the whole time mind you, and I'm still here. I stay because I've been eating leftovers for years. But how do I get over the humiliation of eating leftovers?

Let me start by saying I have been married for a few months and I see that marriage is definitely not the easiest thing to work on, but I believe, like other things that are tough in life, they payoff it worth it. I believe this is a positive attitude and I can approach things like work with logic and reason, but sometime things just don’t seem clear to me.

I keep on getting the statement “You do not understand what I am trying to tell you.” When I do understand what she says, but I don’t necessarily agree with what she has to say. Of course I try to say that but it does not seem to translate. When we argue she gets aggressive and I get “meek” and fall apart. I have never been an expressive person.

We have ended up arguing about the same issues to my surprise after I “though” we had agreed so a solution. Then when I bring up the solution we discussed, it’s as if we never discussed it. What am I doing wrong?

my sister was going to get married, he gave her an engagment ring that was about $2,000. now hes not rich. then they grow apart and they broke up. now my question is should she give it back. i have asked this quistion to my freinds and there are two sides: the men and the woman. the men: give it back. if your not going to get married to him then he deserves the ring back. the woman: it was a gift. now i dont understand that reasoning. to me thats like giving someone $100 to help me paint and they agree and then they say im not helping you and saying the $100 was a gift

Love the man I married. We were fine for the first couple of years, then we got pregnant, had a baby, and got a large inheritance. He used it to get hooked on Oxycontin (he had previously been an opiate addict, been to rehab 6 times before we met, didn't use it when we were together until he got hooked). He went to rehab in April, spent his 30th birthday there, and he has relapsed about 7 times since then. He says he's trying, but I have to drug test him each week and he denies everything until I have perfect proof. I love him, we have a daughter, I don't want to give up on him. Anyone else been married to an addict? Is it worth staying? Do they change? Can they?

your wife or girlfriend tells you what she wants or likes in bed? Because, I can't speak for all women but, it's terrifying to think of actually saying or showing him that stuff. Or is it being too pushy?

All of my Ex-Boyfriends had cheated on me and now I cant trust anyone. And the hard thing is I can't trust my husband either and we have been married for a year. I have a problem with trust because of my past. I do love my husband ! But I just feel that he will cheat on me just like everyone else I have been with has . I feel that I am not beautiful to him anymore. Even though he calls me beautiful everyday. I don't understand why I think so much about him cheating it's just something of the past. Any thoughts on what I should do to help myself get better? Thanks !!

It wall started over a male friend I was talking to at the carnival while i was with my husband for a month.some one started a rumor that me and this friend was having sexual talk and had a affair and none of it was true. So, when he said he was not coming home and still needed to get his head straighten out that i could blame my friend for our break up in which nothing ever happened but talking and to keep in contact with my husband while he ws on the carnival, this so called friend i know also told other co-workers that he was going to take or split my husband up well know i feel he suceeded in doing it.I reget some things that have happened in when I left him first time and was a guy i was seeeing,he took me back then the past when we have been married but we had already started over and one time this year i filed for a divorce but before the 21 days were up i went to settle things and work things out and ended up spending a month an half out with him working on carn?he has no fault

My 21-year-old son just returned home to live after being "away" for about 9 months. We have one computer and it's in our bedroom. My husband (not my son's father) blew up about my son using the computer, says he doesn't want him in "his" bedroom or on the computer at all, ever. I asked him to compromise; my son will only be on it when he's gone, so he'll never know. He said he won't compromise, and has been mad and won't talk to me every since then -- 4 days ago! I think there's more going on here than the computer. My son has been in trouble a lot in the past, and my husband knows about some of it, but he has been nothing but polite with my husband and has changed his life since his return. I should mention my husband is from Nigeria, and they have a very strict view (including beating) of raising kids; I am more liberal. I think he's overreacting. Any comments?

My sons buddy met a girl 3 years ago who was 7 months pregnent, the biological dad was at the time incarcerated. He felt he was in love and married the girl a few weeks before she was to give birth...she asked him to put his name on the birth certificate so that baby would grow up with his name and he agreed to do this. 2 months after the baby was born he found out that she was keeping contact with her ex (babys real dad) so he devorced her. She resumed her relationship with the real dad after he was released from prison, and is still with him. He recieved a letter from the friend of the court saying he needed to pay child support, including all back support for this child. He requested a perternity test, but the judge said the perternity is not in question, it doesnt matter because the name on the birth certificate is all that counts. So the real dad and mom are laughing all the way to the bank...he doesnt even get visitation rights...a legal scam?
