What rights do homosexuals have as opposed to a heterosexual marraige? Are the rights and benefits the same? Are they slightly different? Im curious being Bisexual myself, i always wondered how marriage between two people of the same sex really works out.

hi, i apologize, i got the information from someone else and didnt do too much research, i should have researched it first.

Also heres a response to a certain someone..
Seriously, why would you care about gay marriage? whats wrong with it? ask yourself, i bet you will say something like "god is agaisnt it" "it is just wrong" "its messed up" "its unnatural"
First of all i do believe in God, and if he loved everyone, why are we left out, why are we so wrong, why would god hate or send someone to hell who puts love in their heart for someone of the same sex, if life is about love, if life is about happiness, why do you think so much of SEX, why do you hate us because of who we have sex with or who we are with. Why?
Don't darken your heart, Why put so much hate in your heart towards people who put so much love in theirs.
As for your, "its unnatural sex" how? if it exist, how is it unnatural, if we have no control over it why is it unnatural. What i find is more unnatural is the house we live in, the food we eat, they are really unnatural, Man created it, not nature.
You have a very brainwashed mentatlity.
You need to think before you talk and not just say it because others do, or your prents say so, or thats the "NORM" or becuase god wouldnt want this or that, you or i do not know that, there is no proof, not even the bible is proof, its been trough too much, who knows if it was altered or not.
End.
Again for the rest of you, i apologize for not looking into it more.

Sorry, you'd better look at the update, New Jersey, which happens to be the state where I'm from, voted against same sex marriages at the last moment. Thank God. I think it's a waste of time to even have it on the floor for a vote. There are more important things to consider than people of the same sex who obviously are already having unnatural sex trying to be married. Who's the husband and who's the wife, or is everyone equal? Craziness!

NJ did not legalize gay marriage. Get your facts right you fool.

The state supreme court ruled that gays must have the same rights as the rest of us. That was all they said.

NJ didn't actually legalize gay marriage, just partnership rights. So, gays will get partnership rights, but won't be recognized as married couples.

I don't think NJ legalized gay marriage. I think they broke the law, actually.
