Ok, last week I found out my boyfriend had been cheating on me. I confronted him about it at his place but he wouldn't admit it. We argued for a while until he finally admit he'd been cheating on me for 3 months.

I'm really not usually a violent person at all but that p***ed me off so much, I just punched him as hard as I could in the jaw. It knocked him out cold. I'm only 17. I'm athletic but not muscular (I'm a cheerleader) and he's 21 and pretty buff. I totally didn't expect it! I was just angry. He was knocked out for about 40 minutes. It was really funny, but when he came to he freaked out. He went to the cops and I've been charged with assault. Was I in the wrong?

Just today, after the shower...my mom found cuts across my wrist randomly, and she asked me how I got it and I told her it's from the cats. She applied some disinfectant, but upon running her fingers on it, she said it was too deep to be from a cat, and she didn't believe me. She told me to swear to God that it was from the cats, and me, being faithful to God, couldn't swear, and she knew that I was cutting myself. She looked like she was about to cry and kept asking me lots of questions, most of them like: "What do you cut with, honey? Why? I'm your best friend, please tell me! People do this when they're really sad, why are you doing it?"....I promised her that I would talk about it later, and she let me go for a while. She's gonna ask me later when she finds me alone...I have no idea what to say, to make it understanding and comforting. I don't know exactly what to say about why I cut...Suppose your loved one saw your cuts, what would you say? please help me with all you can!

I just got done reading someone else's question about how they felt marriage was pointless and wasn't a commitment at all. That really mad me sad to read - doesn't anyone see how great marriage is anymore? Doesn't anyone see the benefits of being in a stable marriage? Am I the only one who loves being married? lol

I find it difficult approaching and having anything interesting to say to women when I'm out. Is there anything to help guys like me who fumble with what to say?

So we've been talking for a couple days. I'm having second thoughts about him. My Ex-Fiance broke up with me in June after dating for over 4 years. She stated that she needed to find herself and is vey depressed at the present, and that a relationship is too much to handle at the moment. I got pregnant a few months ago (currently 21 weeks).. my ex has agreed from the beginning to take full financial responsibility for this child- but wasn't "emotionally" ready for a kid and didnt want him in his life-- he BEGGED me to get an abortion. We have had NO problems agreeing with him paying child support for my son, but now his lawyer is telling him that if he's paying 20% he might as well get to see the kid-- my ex is NOT a good man- after we broke up i found out he was messing around with young girls (14 years old.. and he's 27) he lied to me about SO much and is NOT the person i thought he was.. i dont want him around my son as this kind of influence!!!-- he agreed to sign over his custody/visitation rights because he wanted NOTHING to do w/ my son- now all of a sudden he's telling me that since i made a decision he didnt like (not getting the abortion) he was going to make one i didnt like (going after some form of custody)

I have a friend who is a girl who I really really like. At first it started with me thinking she is pretty but not much else but I have really fallen for her personality. I think (if i remember correctly) she just finished a relationship.

I have fun around her - I hope she feels the same way, she smiles a lot and laughs a lot (causing me to laugh and smile), however I am doubtful she would want me as a BF.

She is smart and a logical thinker - although maybe she isn't giving me signs she wants me like that because she is smart and scared to make the first move (this girl must have an iq between 120-130).

I act like she means a lot to me but put on a lot of self confidence but it could possibly look like I view her as just a friend - although I have sent her a few messages telling her stuff like she means a lot to me and I can't remember the last time I have smiled or laughed as much as when im with you so I think she gets the message.

Any ideas where to go from here?

I really notice it. I'm less keen to meet up with people and try new things and less flexible about all kinds of arrangements, such as holidays, accommodation, etc. I am also loads more sensitive about getting enough sleep and eating certain things. Boring boring! What has happened? I know it's probably a universal thing. Should you try to fight against it?

My boyfriend was supposed to be going to Vegas with his family. Now, all of a sudden, he tells me if he goes it will be with his friends. I would have no problem if he went anywhere else, literally. I mean, Rome, Canada, California, etc. would be fine. It's just the fact that it's Vegas and I've known people who have gone there and crazy things have happened. I trust him but I also know how groups of guys are when they're together in a place like that. He knows how upset I am about it and whenever I bring it up, he gets mad at me and tells me he's going either way. Should I be upset?
