There are so many great ideas and websites out there.
Here are a couple great sites to start with.
Hope these are as much help to you as they were to me.
I've also included a rental site.
Best of luck!

I don't have the references you are looking for, but I will say this:
Before you sign up to do anything yourself, make sure you understand exactly how long it will take you (for instance, how long each arrangement you are making for floral) and exactly how you will fit this in to your schedule. Time has a way of getting away from you the closer your wedding comes. Carefully consider the amount of money saved vs. the amount of time it will take. A lot of times, it's not worth it.
The only things I did myself were my programs- I printed them myself at home. I was able to do this two weeks before the day, so it didn't take up too much of my time.
The last thing you want to do is rush to get to the wedding, stressed because you've been up all night fussing with flowers.

There isn't one good website for DIY weddings. If you want to create something yourself, look for what you want (flower arrangement, favors, etc) and figure out if you could make it. Better Homes and Gardens has a wedding magazine that has a lot of instructional ideas, as well as Martha Stewart. We did a lot of it ourselves. By looking at things professionals made and researching how to make that specific item. For example, I wanted to make my own bouquet, so I googled "how to make a bouquet", figured it was easy enough for me to do, so I did it. It did save us a ton of money and everyone was so impressed how beautiful it all turned out. Just remember to keep it simple!

Here is a website that tells you how to make bouquets:
http://www.favorideas.com/learn-about/wedding-flowers/how-to-make-a-hand-tied-wedding-bouquet/
and here is a website that sells flowers in bulk - they even have "wedding packages" for making wedding bouquets, centerpieces, etc.:
http://www.onlinewholesaleflowers.com/weddinginabox.html
I am not married yet, so I haven't tried the flowers yet, but someone else here on Yahoo said she was going to get her flowers from this site.
Hope this at least helps with your flowers!

I also subscribe to Martha stewart Weddings magazine.
All of these places are totally helpful. They have budget tools, guest list tools, checklist tools, vendor links, etc.
Good luck!!!
