So we've been talking for a couple days. I'm having second thoughts about him. If I don't text him back, he seriously gets pissed off, saying things like, "If you're not gonna talk to me, speak up, I don't wanna waste my time." Or "whatever you hate me" I have no clue what to do. Is he even worth my time? I don't know what to say to him.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, but he gets extremely mad. What do I say to him?

Say "I have better things to do than text you every moment of my life." I really don't think he deserves you if he's gunna be a jerk about it. Even if it's hard to let him go, you gotta do what you gotta do, and you have to hav self respect.
Or...explain to him that you are thinking he is taking things too seriously, and that he is being over sensititve, and give him a second chance.

Tell him what he is doing and how it affects you. Seriously. Give him a friendly "heads up" because his life is going to be damn difficult if he starts all potential relationships so strong.
Say "hey, it's not always about you, if I don't text you back right away". or "when you say I hate you, it really hurts my feelings and it's just an odd thing to say to someone".

Sounds like a power struggle, where he 'punishes' you when you don't do 'exactly' what he wants (even if he didn't tell you what that was!)
This is NOT a healthy way to treat someone, so steer clear.
He doesn't want to 'waste his time', he hasn't even given it a chance. 'Hate' seems like an awfully strong word to use, given that you've only been chatting a few days.
Let his insecurities damage someone ELSE.

Definately sounds like he has some trust issues. If he is already starting into this, imagine what it would be like if you did get into a relationship with him. Sounds like the kinda guy who would keep you locked in the house and have you not talk to ANYONE! I'd ditch this dude.

He's a controlling and abusive pr*ck.
If he's genuinely starting to bother you with his inane bahaviour, have his number blocked...don't know how that'll work on texting, though, but you won't need to worry about calls from his cell or home.
In any case...dump him and don't call/text back!

I say you should leave him, there are plenty of other guys out there. Just one over problematic guy will not change you if you leave. Plus he sounds really like he thinks your not worth his time.
