One of my best friends just got engaged and I was excited at first but kind of hurt that I wasnt asked to be a bridesmaid but I brushed it off because it was her decision.
Since she doesnt have it in her budget to actually hire a planner, shes assumed that Im going to take the role of planning her entire wedding! (I work as an event and party planner)
If we werent as close I wouldnt mind, but Im going as a guest and since shes one of my best friends and I want to be able to actually enjoy the wedding, not be running around like I would have to as her wedding planner, worrying about the pattern on the forks matching the pattern on the knives and that the lighting and sound will be working at the reception. I would miss everything since Id be so busy.

I told her Id be a 'consultant' of sorts, but that I didnt want to take on the job of planning and executing the entire thing that day, and now shes mad that I wouldnt want to help make her day "perfect"

Any advice??

what can i do to help him. he was in treatment for 40 days in july and august. i told him if we would stay together he would have to promise me he wouldnt use again. after a month of sobriety he relapsed. and he just told me last night. i decided to give him one more chance because he is really sinceire about changing and i am serious that next time it will be over without any quetions. im wondering if there is anything i can do to help him with this struggle.

Im real sorry to bother you guys with this but I really need help... ok so this is the story Ive been Dating this guy for a little over a year and he has never asked me to be his girlfriend.. I mean were always together and its as if we were a couple I mean we are but its just not official. The problem is no one in my family seems to like him... I can Honestly say he is an asswhole sometimes , He always wants things done his way and he tends to even raise his voice at me constantly ... we are literally fighting 40 % of the time and I dont like that because I really love him and to what he says he wants to make me his wife .. But sometimes I feel a bit affraid of him because like I said he has a really bad temper. But Not of all of it is bad he is a sweet guy I guess what I want to know is what others think of my sittuation because I know that we tend to blind ourselves when we fall in love and I am doing this to myself I want your help to finally open my

Hubby is not to financially brite, If some calls and say a bill needs to be paid he will just pay it with no questions asked, Not knowing if I already paid it meaning mailed it. or it is an error, He keeps track of nothing Mortage, insurance, car notes. utilities etc...But the latest gadget that comes out he knows all about it! he 's in the Military, he is buying crap that is not really needed and not communicating with me,when he make these purchase, SO there were a few time he has overdrawn out acct and I would have transfer money into from the saving to cover the cost. I pay bills before I do anything, he may not...How do I tell him that I no longer want my income in the same account with his? And just in case your wondering I make more than he does. And I have 2 kids with me and he has two kids with their baby mama! I just need to figure out how to tellhim with out hurting his feelings....I just cannot do it anymore....

My fiance and I are starting to register for our wedding. We already live on our own and have many of the things a couple would normally put on their registry.

Does anybody know of any good websites that give suggestions of what to put/not put on a registry? We don't want to put anything tacky on there (like dvds or stuff like that) but we want to give our guests *something* to choose from.

Okay.So Ive been married for over a year now in November. Last year for Christmas my spouse and I didnt handle the situation very well.For us hispanics the 24th is sacred as well as the 31st.It's FAMILY time. It's sad that I can actualy count on one hand the ammount of times my wife and I have had sex in the past 3 months. Granted there is alot of pressure and stress on her and I right now, but still. 2 times in 3 months? What's going on?

I am told by her that I am the perfect husbacnd, I help out, she asks I do, we spend time togetehr, our relationship is great! But now it's getting to the point where I do not even want to touch her, or kiss her goodnight in fear of a fight. If I bring up the subject of sex or try to come on to her, I get the cold shoulder or the "is sex all you care about?" question. (answer is No by the way) She just doesn't understand that I enjoy the intamacy and want to pass on my affection to her in that way.

Talking to her doesn not help, she doesn't listen and just gets angry

I find that with more than one woman, they have asked about the color of my eyes with a lot of interest. I always found it strange because I wouldn't care about what color someone's eyes were unless I was interested.

i asked a question if i should tell the guy i like , that i like him.. and u all said i should so i did and he told me that he has a gf!i cried for an hour and he told me that he does not like me!
