How do you tell a friend you don't really want to be their friend anymore because you don't like them anymore?

Something like this: "I don't want to be your friend anymore, because your main question is inane and vague, and I can't imagine why you didn't put the detail as your question, unless you realized that nobody would answer it!"

But, then, you'd be out of breath, so, do whatever one of the other respondents say! ;)

Same thing happened to me a long time ago. You don't really say anything. Usually they can feel the vibe coming on that you are bored. Usually you start hanging out less and less and hang out with other people more and more and eventallly you just pretty much lose contact.
