no that's not true. when they say SIGHT and BLIND- it's not literal.
in explanation of sight. first sight. it means soul mates. some people will tell u they exist and others wont.
and blind- it's the opposite- u NEVER knew such a person was meant for u. but it turns out they r =)

Well I don't think actual love at first sight is possible. There may be some initial attraction that then develops into real love, but that feeling cant just magically appear. I'm not really sure if love being blind cancels out love at first sight, but I do think that love does impair your abilities to some extent. I mean, if you've even been in love, then you know that feeling when you think that you are on top of the world and as long as that person is around, nothing bad can happen. Obviously feelings like that can lead to reckless decisions and screw up your sense of other things as well.

Love at first sight is more of an infatuation than it is love. As far as love is blind, it is not necessarily a physical attraction they are talking about. When people say love is blind they often are referring to other qualities that you can overlook too. I hate to use this as an example but like women who are in relationships and dont see what their men are doing to them or the other way around also.

They say love is blind but that is bull. Never in my life have I had a girl tell me she thought I was great when we first met. Hell never had that happen after 10 years of knowing a girl.
Most of what they say about love is only true for people that have 10 out of 10 looks and tons of cash. To anyone else it doesn't apply.

love is blind means you're so in love with someone that you can't really see anything for what it really is.
like a woman who's husband is abusive.
perfect example of how love is blind.
she's so in love with her husband that she sees the relationship differently from everyone else.
I believe in love at first sight.
I don't believe in falling in love at first sight.
I think there are special, magnetic attractions that can lead to falling in love.
attractions that you don't get every day.
I think the people who say love at first sight doesn't exist have never experienced it so it's easy to say it's not real.

taking two figurative sayings and trying to relate them as literal meaning
but both sayings coexist meaning
when a mother sees her child for the first time that is love at first site. but her being able to overlook the errors made by them and love them anyway is where love is blind
just a view

Wrong! For blind people, love at first sight means love from the very first meeting.

I believe in love is blind. The other is more like lust at first sight. It may take a while to love someone, but then you can never let go.

It's not love that's blind. It's lust that's blind. How in the world can you love someone you don't know? Love takes time. Love is patient, kind, etc.
