How would you feel about a girl who gave a guy her number? I was reading that book, "He's Just Not that Into You" and it was saying how if a guy wanted to pursue, he would, but what if this guy has no idea you're crushing on him?

I think we put too many limitations on people. There is nothing wrong with showing interest - whether you're female or male makes no difference. Sometimes its as simple as someone being interested, but shy. Or not knowing you well enough to know if they're interested. Do what feels right - dont go by some overcommercialized overhyped book - thats just someone spreading their own opinion around for a buck.

I don't see any problem with it. After all, it's a no pressure situation, He calls, great. he's doesn't, no worries.
After all, maybe he hasn't considered the idea of dating you because...well, he just didn't think it was an option. Doing it this way gets it out of your system (worrying about it) once and for all.

I'd be fine with it. I don't think there is any problem for girls to give their numbers to guys. Doesn't necessarily mean anything and if he contacts you then that would be a good sign.

well us guys are for the most part clueless wen it comes to women, often have to get them to spell things out lol, but if shes giving u her number then a sure as hell wudnt be complaining, call her man get her on a date

I have read that book, dotn agree with everything, but a good read. I think that it is ok, i would be casual about it and not push the fact that you are crushin on him though, at first....
