They had no insurance because they are about to move.. so thankfully they were renting the house and the owner had insurance on it.. and they have a new place to live soon, but they've lost everything. Does anyone have experience with getting things for people after a house fire? I know to check thrift stores, but is there anything else? This is my sister and I really want to do all I can to help her...ESPECIALLY with Christmas coming up. She is in high spirits though.

If a wife feels bad because her husband forgot an anerversary so she calls him and says, "Why does romance have to die after marriage"...how would you as a guy take this question? I asked it out of being disappointed and hurt, maybe I should have just not asked at all. Sometimes I feel men and woman have a hard time communicating. Please honest answers only.

Has anyone else ever gotten the almost a panicy feeling before that you feel like you might not love your b/f or g/f anymore. My boyfriend and I have been seeing eachother much more than we normally this past month. And I know I'm sort of feeling this way just because I know I need some space. When we're not together, he's always calling me to talk, and it's been kind of annoying me. I know deep down that I love him though, and I know that I want to marry him. I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there who has experienced this in a relationship, and if so please tell me what to do. I just feel real smothered lately, but I know I still love him to death.

Okay, so a friend of mine got married last weekend. I was not able to attend because I was in the hospital having my baby. I didn't RSVP that I would attend, but rather declined because it was so close to my due date. Well my mother & sister who were also invited only attended the wedding & not reception. (They came to the hospital to be with me because my husband is out of town & could not come in for our childs birth). Rachel got back from her honeymoon yesterday, so this morning I called to ask about there trip & she said she doesn't feel like talking to me & hung up. Well I was at the store later & the cashier tells me..."I heard some people didn't attend Rachels wedding cuz you were having your baby" Why is what anyone else did my fault. AT LEAST I WASN'T THERE, to go into labor during her wedding. I have her wedding gift but I don't think that I even want to send it to her now. She hasn't even acknowledged that I now have a child either. Urgh...I'm so frustrated. I

My husband and I have been together for almost 3 years now, married for about 5 months. I am a strong beleiver in waiting until marriage. But he had been with 3 other girls by the time we met. I know the past is the past, but living in a small town and constantly running into his ex's bothers me. I had no experience before him, so I know he didn't pick up anything from me. He had to have learned it somewhere. I just don't know how to deal with it. We've talked about it a couple times before, but I just recently found out he lied to me the first time he told me. I feel like I've been lied to this whole time. I know he was trying to spare my feelings, but it hurts more to find the truth now and know he's been lying the whole time. I guess it just hurts to know that he shared such an experience with 3 others. It makes me feel less of a person. Any tips on how to work through this (without going to marriage counseling)? He doesn't like talking about it...Thanks guys.

Hi All:
Thanks for reading my blog. My husband and I have been married for seven years and have grown a lot since we married. I have been by his side for this long and am completely devoted to my marriage. Just so you know, I have been through many TDY's and 2 deployments at 8 month stints. Well, he left for Korea in Sept 07 and called me a couple of weeks ago and said that he has never been in love and thinks he wants a divorce. I am thinking "What the heck happened?" I asked him out right if he had had any other relationship with another woman and he said no. We have had a wonderful and trusting relationship 100% of our marriage. I would not be married to a man I could not trust 100%. SO-anyway, he is suffering from lonliness, boredom, post-war combat stress (which he shared with me a couple of days ago on the phone, until then I had no idea) and is just very confused. I need to get an opinion on whether I should wait until he gets home to talk to him face to face in Feb?

I've been in 3 relationships with white men. ALL of these men dated black women only or had dated a black woman previously.

Now, I'm in a connudrum of sorts. There's a white guy that I like & want to be with...but he's never been w/ a black woman before. I've always made it a personal rule of mine to never date/flirt/play with these kinda men. Why? B/C I don't want to be the person that has to break them in.

It's hard enough to date when both partners are experienced...I don't really want this added pressure in the relationship, but he's told me that he wants to be with a black woman that he wants it to be me.

Oh and did I mention that he turns me on by merely glancing my way? He oozes sex appeal and I'm definitely attracted to him, but I'm not sure if can handle his inexperience.

my friend Kaitlyn has liked this guy Adam for over 2 years. I only found out about it a few weeks ago and only me and her cousin knows. She's talked to him before but she can never look him in the eye, and recently can't even talk to him. She was taking the wall down for a time there, but for some reason it's up again. She's scared to talk to him infront of his friends because she doesn't want to be humiliated infront of them. She knows everything there is to know about Adam, and she loves his family to death and all that, but shes just too chicken! I feel like i am to blame and that I to interest him anymore. I don't know what to do.He is 35 years old and overwieght but he has been that way sence we meet we have been married and just in the last 6 month has it gotten worse and we are trying to have a baby and that makes it even harder to deal with when things don't work right i feel like I am not doing some thing right. Ok, so there's this boy. i really like. And yesterday he showed me ALL the signs he liked me. But today he ignored me, and hardly talked to me. When yesterday he did basically everything to get my attention. And he teased me. But I guess he kinda made me look at him today because he made up a one verse song for me. And later, he started ignoring me after the substitute kicked him out of the room and yelled at him. And after class when he was around his friends and I asked him what he yelled at him about he said "Nothing, god." and his friends walked by me and they gave me a look like saying 'wow, she's weird.' Does this mean he likes me? Or hates me? Or.......ugh I'm confused.

I keep hearin all these bad things about the water now days. it makes me want to go to the mountains with buckets and get natural tap water from up there. I hear that some got minerils, some got bacteria, some got no flooride, some are just sink water but they strain it [?] [aquafina], that sink water has floating things in the water [this true] and etc etc THIS HAS DRIVING ME CRAZY all I want to do is drink good water that is good for me and my doughter

Mum - She always shouts at me for literally no reason, & has given me marks where she has hit me before. She is an alcoholic & tried to kill her self 2 times in my lifetime. I don't hate mum that much, just sometimes.
Dad - Ignorant, always watches porn and wanks himself, picks his nose, shouts at me for nothing & comes in my room naked at night to turn my telly off.
My Brother - He has severe behavior orders & has been arrested twice for assaulting me with a hammer and stuff like that.
And the rest of my family takes the piss out of me and calls me names.
I've told my mum & she says they are only joking, but it still hurts.
Also, mum and dad have said they wished i was never born & that they hate me when they get pissed off with me.

My neighboor, I have a crush on him, and I just know we are going to get married some day... I don't know why. It is soooo weird. He is all I think about and I can't get him out of my head. Im a 17 year old girl in high school, so i can drive. There are parties going on and what not but idk i just feel like having a personal day lol. I was sick last week and still don't feel that great. Our teenage daughter is beyond messy. Her room is always trashed and I mean trashed. Never cleans up after herself and it is frustrating the heck out of me. We have tried every form of positive and negetive reinforment with no change in her ways. We have even threatned to make her switch rooms with her younger brother( she has half the basement as her bedroom) and all that did was make her give us the silent treatment. Anybody have any ideas on how to get her to care? And for the love of all that holy, do not respond to this by just saying " well she is a teen, what did i expect" being a teen does not mean "go ahead and be a piglet".
