No, a mother can name the child whatever she wants, but you can remove your name from the birth certificate as the father, but you must have proof.

No, he can't force the mother to change the kids name. A former significant other put my name on the birth certificate, and gave the little boy my last name.

As far as I know he is 14, and still has my name.

The funny thing about this, is I had a vasectomy 5 years before he was made. Not only that but I had been split from her for about 6 months.

The kid can only have his biological fathers last name if he signed the birth certificate.

If he doesn't know he the biological parent why would the kid have his name? This is confusing....

if you were tricked and told this child was yours and later find out (dna) its not yes the it is your right will need a lawyer.
