Hi, this girl I like went to a Catholic high school (we're in college now), and I just wanted to know if Catholic girls are prudish or not. (never dated a Catholic before)

We dont have much money at the moment so my mom thought it would be a good idea to go on a vacation in place of christmas. We will still celebrate christmas in the tradition of our christmas dinner and being together but instead of exchanging gifts we save our money and put it toward a vacation. I see this as unfair main reason being my dad and nephew would not be able to go with us on this vacation so it would only be my mom and me and my sisters, not the entire family so not only would they get left out by everyone else giftwise they also would get left out of the "family vacation". Another reason being is I already placed everyones gifts under the tree so while they all get gifts and a vacation I wont get anything and I wont have any money to spend it on a vacation because I spent what little money I myself had on christmas gifts for them. I know this is the christmas season and alot of people have it worse than me so please no preaching. I just want opinions about the idea.

I am an army spouse. and my husband doesnt talk money at all with me. I am a responsible , TRUSTWORTHY person. since he has been in the service he sets aside a small percentage of money to place in the joint account, but its hardly enough to cover the bills.. he is always going out with his friends spending money, and i am stuck at home trying to save money by not always going out, and using coupons or not buying things when i dont have to. i am so much more conservitive then he is.. and i dont waste anything.. my hubby is the complete opposite, when it comes to sharing he is horrible with it. matter of fact he uses things like money grows on trees and throws things out before they are even gone.

My 19 year old son is getting married very soon.
We sent an invitation to my brother and his wife by dropping off the invitation in their letterbox(hand delivery).
When we asked them a week later if they were coming to the wedding my brother said, "We didn't receive the wedding invitation".
So I said, "no drama I will put you down as coming"
Anyway, in the next few days, my son and his fiance receive an RVSP saying they couldn't come.
So my mum rang my brother up and said to his wife - "are you coming to the wedding and she replies, "We didn't receive the invitation".
My mother talks privately to my brother and says, "so, you are not coming to the wedding and he says, we didn't receive the invitation.
But..they must have and we think his wife has sent the RSVP.
So, now they are not coming.
Should I (mother) and my son (and his fiance) be upset.
I wish they would just have told the truth.They sent the RVSP slip that was in the invitation slip.

My date is married n he has three children.He is a superb nice man.I know he likes n loves me so much and at the same time,he had never ever say bad things about his wife yet he loves her so much n appreciate her for supporting him in their 17years of marriage.
At the same time,he gave me everything that i need and always makes me happy.He take care of me as much as how he care for his family.I have a very2 good relationship with his family and honestly i love them as if they're mine.
The problem is that,I dont want to continue cheating his wife. If one day she found out the truth,I am very sure that she will be hurt badly.I love this man whole-heartedly but I dont wanna hurt his wife and his three beautiful children. Please give me ur opinion on what I should do and how am I to face if u think the best way to solve this is,walk away.

It seems to me that if I was married and there was sexual problems, I would try to figure out the cause. Perhaps she had someone close die. Or maybe she is experiencing an emotional crises. Maybe job stress.

All I know is that she is the woman I married and I love her just as much as she loves me. So why should sex problems cause me to leave her? It won't, because we will find a way to work things out because we love each other. Love each other enough to get married and spend the rest of our life together.

I just don't see why sex is so important that it warrants a divorce for some people when it gets slightly stale. I mean, I think it's unrealistic to have wild,fantastic sex 24/7/365. I think people have unrealistic expectations of sex and place it way too highly compared to the meanings of a true, loving, and unconditional relationship.

I was invited to my family Christmas Dinner. On the same day I have my x-mas party at work. I gotta be honest I hate going to my family gatherings. I don't hate anyone I just hate the aura they put off theres a few who stay in their own click won't even say hi or acknowledge other family members outside their click. When I go I feel Like half act like their better than everyone else. And all you hear is about what they have a like a new car, etc. And of course everything they have is way better than anyone elses. I'm not jealous in the least little bit. I just hate going cause I'm just me Im not in competition with anyone else. I might not have alot but everything I do have is paid for. I just wish everyone can get togeather and leave the bs aside and have a good time like family is supposed to do. And I think everyone should mingle after all we are family instead of being in their clicks. I feel if I gotta put up with the bs I dont wanna go. I will stop by the ones home i care to see

I have a step-son who is 13yrs old. I have recently had an argument with him about having him help his sibblings clean up their toys. He totally ignored me and continued laying down on the coach. So then I decided to raise my voice (like always when it comes down to him), and he just totally disrespected me by talking back while his father looks at me like I did something wrong. how do I deal with tring to keep order in my house with my own children when my step-son doen't respect me? Then later My husband and I got into it b/c he disaplines our daughter and I laugh because he has no problem doing it to our children but when it comes down to his son he won't do 1/2 the disapline on him. Am I wrong? Wanting my step son to pitch in with the chores or helping his sibblings clean up before bed time even if he did not do the mess. I really don't know what my question should really be but I do know I need some really good advice on how to deal with my step-son and how to handle my husband?
