I have an idea of what I like, but I don't know what REALLY looks the best as far as sillouetts. I know he will ask, it's just a matter of when. He even told me tonight that he will ask me a certain question along with something for my finger. I want to have my gown designed for me, but I would like a starting point referance. So, would it be bad luck to just go try some on?

undesirable success, no. The custom comes from a time while marriages have been arranged, and the groom did no longer meet his bride till the marriage day. undesirable manners, in line with risk, while you're taking in the time of a salesman attempting to make fee and you're no longer likely going to purchase. additionally, while you're merely bored and with a team of your human beings and are available to a determination tenting on the bridal save is a exciting thank you to spend the afternoon, the variety of noise and distraction that is going with that makes the approach much less relaxing for actual brides-to-be who're attempting to p.c.. a dress.

I don't know if it is officially bad luck, but I kind of felt like it was. I too waited a long time to get engaged, and it was one of those done deals, I just had to wait for the ring, etc. I would have felt weird trying on wedding dresses before I was engaged.

it's not bad luck...just no one in the shops will take you seriously. they will make you feel like crap for not having a ring. you should just wait a little longer in my opinion...plus it will be more fun when you get to go with a ring to show everyone!!

Its not bad luck.
