My friend is in this position and I find it difficult to console him. I've been listening to what he has to say but I feel that if I truly told him how I felt he'd be very hurt.

He falls hard in love very easily and tends to go for women who are already taken. After the inevitable rejection, he goes through a crazy cycle of self-doubt and feelings of worthlessness. Right now he's beating himself up by comparing himself to her partner and assuming he isn't good enough...

I feel for him, but I honestly think he's being ridiculous. I just don't want to offend him by seeming insensitive.

Their car is in bad shape especially the tires. 2 weeks before Thanksgiving one of the tires went flat. My daughter gave her a tire and all she had to do was have it put on her rim. In the meantime I took her to work, picked her up from work and told her several times to get the tire put on the rim. She waited until the day before Thanksgiving to fix it and drove the car to her ex husbands , a 40 mile trip one way, to pick up her daughter because her ex , (he has custody) told her that they were having dinner with his parents and he would not bring the daughter until Friday. The last time she drove there the car broke down and I had to go pick her up and pay for the wrecker to pull the car back. This is a hardship on me. So I told her and my son not to take a chance driving the car that far anymore. It is easier for me when it breaks down here to pick them up usually late at night and tow the car in than when they go to the next state. I also told her I would take her to pick

I think its pretty obvious that this is my situation. My friend and I catch him staring/looking across class or from far away, yet at as he comes closer, he acts like im invisible. And he sometimes talks about me/teases me to OTHER people in class, yet he's never said 1 word to me. Any insight into this conundrum would help a lot. =]

so, I recently made out with this guy I like, I dunno if he likes me. but right when i kissed him he became hard, before I even touched him in that area, it was already hard when i went to touch him.....is that normal for guys? I thought most guys get hard only if you rub up on that area.

He's made it painfully clear that he is never going to change (he's lazy around the house, though he works hard at work, he doesn't talk to me, he tells me to hush all the time when I try to talk to him, he tells me my interests are stupid, talks bad about my family, doesn't play with our one year old son much, never takes us anywhere, never wants to spend time alone, never has sex with me, never hugs/kisses me unless he's leaving for work, gets mad if I call his cell..) BUT, he works, pays the bills, allows me to be a stay at home mom for our son, and doesn't cheat. He comes home straight after work, and doesn't run around. So, my question is.. how can I be the person he wants me to be? I'm opinionated, open minded, believe that men and women are equal, demanding when it comes to our son and what a husband SHOULD do.. BUT all it does is cause us to fight. I can't take it anymore, but divorce isn't an option. My dad left my sister and I when I was three and I've always wondered why.

i have been seeing my 39yr old boyfriend now for over 2yrs.i thort he was the one for me so we decided to have a baby together, which is due any time now.
since becoming pregnant, i have realised that he is very hard to talk to, everything i say is incorrect and he knows better and snaps at what i say . he keeps blaming the distance i have created from him becuz of this on my 'hormones', which is incorrect. i have on numerous occasions tried to explain to him that i cant talk to him and we just go round in circles becuz he says that thats rubbish and that i can talk to him!
He also lives at home with his parents and i have told him he cant move in yet. i said this becuz im hoping he will change so he then can move in.
he also is only willing to go halves financially in everything but i dont think this is normal becuz if im having time of work to have his baby, how do i pay my half? i have my own home car & belongings as i moved out of hme at 15, he has a computer.
wot do i do??

that your ex has to respond to your communications? My girlfriend and her husband have it written that they must respond to e-mails within 24 hours? I just wondered if this is common? Mine owes me money for his share of medical bills for our son-yet he ignores any e-mails or phone messages. (this is only the second time in 4 years I have asked for money). it's not a large enough sum to warrant legal measures, but it is close to Christmas and he definitely has the money so that is not the issue. Sorry to vent.
