I don't know what to do.He is 35 years old and overwieght but he has been that way sence we meet we have been married and just in the last 6 month has it gotten worse and we are trying to have a baby and that makes it even harder to deal with when things don't work right i feel like I am not doing some thing right. And I know its not my fault but i can't help but have guilt about it. Any advise would be appricated. Serious Responses only...

In addition to the prescription suggestions above I'd also encourage you to help your lovemaking to be less "intercourse centered" than it might have been before (at least for play--making a baby isn't so flexible). He'll probably need a bit more physical touch from you when thoughts are not enough to maintain the erection.

One key thing to remember is that the erection is actually a relaxation response. If a man has erectile dysfunction, nothing will make a developing erection go away more than stress. I'd suggest finding way to help use even a partial erection.

Manual and oral play (you on him as well as he on you) will help reestablish your connection and hopefully help to reduce any performance anxiety he may be feeling.

Check out medical issues. Sudden ED can be a sign of blood sugar or blood pressure problems. It can also be a sign of fatigue and lack of sleep. I find that so many more things are possible with a few full nights of sleep.

If you have any questions on my own experiences, challenges and solutions, just use the email or IM link.

Good luck.

Okay, listen up. He's overweight and been this way since you married. How now is this YOUR fault? The weight likely has a lot to do with it. Does he have urges and just can't get a good erection? If so, viagra or cialis or levetra will do the job nicely. If there's no urge then those drugs won't do it. No urge then likely testosterone is low. Easy fix. He's got to see his doctor though to figure out which of these problems to correct. Also, lose weight.

The "overweight" comment is key. If he has high blood pressure, or diabetes, it could well cause E.D.

Stress is also a contributing factor.

Get him to the doc, and possibly he'll come out of it with a prescription for Levitra.

sweetheart, you really need to talk to a doctor, any doctor, even your GYN can explain this.

i am certain it is the meds he is on for the health conditions, and i am certain a doctor wont give him viagra because of the health conditions.

i am sorry, but i dont think there is anything you can do.
cuddle with him and if some day he gets an erection, work on having that baby. but if you keep trying, you only make it worse. no guy wants to be reminded that he cant have sex.

it is not your fault and you cant help him. i am very sorry.
see a doc, in case im wrong. and see a shrink, before you drive yourself nuts
if it is the meds, no woman on earth can help him. it is not you, it is the meds.

have him see a doctor for a viagra or cialis perscription. It isn't uncommon and it definitely ISN'T YOUR FAULT!

A lot of men have the same problem and E.D. knows no age limits.

Forget the viagra. Tell him to lose weight, and not eat as much fatty food. Fat is clogging his blood flow. Another thing might be his mental situation on having a baby.

i guarantee that if he works out and loses weight he will get it back. i notice it every time i have gained weight and quit working out that i don't get e.d. but i do lose some vigor.

He has a "physical " problem. Dont blame yourself-he is in poor health-he may have diabetes-he should go to the doctor asap-these are not normal symptoms

He needs to talk to his doctor about this. Pronto.

p.s. it's not you. You can't complain your way into getting him erect. Putting pressure on him will make it worse. HE has to take care of this.
