I obviously had to quit drinking, smoking, etc. right away. He is supportive and also quit for the most part, which has helped a lot. I think as the father of this baby, it's only right. But.. because I'm pg, I'm not having a bachelorette party or going out... and his friends want to take him out tomorrow night to get wasted, bar hop, etc. He's going, and he's going to be drinking alot. I'm so upset, but I don't want to be. How can i get over this??

I am writing a collection of erotic stories. I am thinking of presenting them as a single mother fbi agent (or some other officer) is investigating, that way I can tell past events as she finds out details, etc. Over the course of the book I intend for the agent to fall prey to her own dark desires that she doesn't realize she has. I'd like to involve propaganda/brainwashing in the main reasoning for the town to have given up taboos (open marriage, inc, besti, young, etc)

Anyone have suggestions as to a convincing argument for giving into taboos and/or allowing yourself to be used by others (even if the logic might be slightly flawed)?

In particular I'd love it if you could provide quotes from the bible or from famous philosophers that could be twisted. Especially as it relates to the above taboos.

p.s. I am willing to write you, spouse or family into the story if you are interested. - also am willing to take scene suggestions

Let me start by saying I love my husband very much and I would never want to hurt him. But I guess I did when he walked in on me watching porn. I've tried to get him to watch it with me before nothing crazy, but he thinks it's degrading to women?
I think everyone pleaures themselves sometimes and I see nothing wrong having a helping aid. Now he's acting distant from me, what would you do?

I love being with my boyfriend all the time. We've been together 3 yrs on Nov. 19. It seems as though we always do the same thing. Eat at the same restaurants watch movies every other night. We'll go out occasionally to somewhere new but that's rare. I would like to be surprised from time to time with a rose or a letter he left for me but I don't want to tell him to do it because that defeats the purpose. How do i hint that I like small romantic gestures? He makes more money than me and I think he believes that buying my grand gifts for birthday/christmas will make me happy.

I could care less about the big gifts. I would just like to have a surprise romantic gesture that doesn't cost anything.

What do I do?

I was dumped by ex gf just 8 weeks after our child was born. We came to a friendly agreement over contact and maintenance to avoid courts and the CSA.

I lost my job, and she said it was fine to stop payment, and I quickly found another job. But the pay is poor and I struggle to pay her. She wants to go to the CSA but knows it is pointless to her - she is on benefit, and whatever the CSA take from me to give to her, the social security will DEDUCT the same from her benefit. Instead she is resorting to implied threats.

I told her I would move jobs to earn more, but she insists I MUST only work Monday to Friday! She is willing to take the money but not to accept a change of contact days.

I feel I am being muscled out of my child's life, and I can easily see why some fathers in the UK feel compelled to do a vanishing act.

So many posters on YA talk about the horrors of relationships and unfortunately scare those that are dating, engaged, or newly married into thinking that their relationship is headed for the “Couples Graveyard”. Tell how long you’ve been married, and give a wonderful memory (if you can).

My greatest memory: Landing at the airport on the return trip from our Honeymoon knowing that a new life was about to begin – been happy ever since.

We've been together for almost 2 years (in April). I know this may sound lame but I've always had this problem with him talking to a bunch of different women on myspace. We are both mature and older (21 & 23). One day I was looking at his page and noticed that he had all these girls who were taking pictures of themselves in thongs and looking all whore-ish. I confronted him about it in a joking manner, and the next day he had blocked me from viewing his friends on his page.

I caught him online adding all these girls again, and he denies it when I ask him. Should this be some sort of red flag that he may be unhappy with our relationship, or should I just take it as typical male behavior?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 6 months. We are living together, things were going well until last week he decided he wanted space but did not want to break-up. He made it pretty clear that it wasn't me it was him and that he has to better himself so that he can one day give me the things I want. He is 36 and I am 27. Can anyone tell me what exactly he means by this? And what is a good way to make this work? He still wants to see me and talk to me but not live together for right now.

I just took a suitcase and left - everything else is still at the house.

He is very stressed about work, bills and money

He is the one that calls me and says he misses me and loves me

And swears to GOD he doesnt want to date anyone else.

Should I give into him wanting to see me? Or should I just say you wanted space and seeing me isn't giving you your space?
And let him figure it out with out me around?

I am so confused someone help me!?!?!?!?! PLEASE! =0(

We are going to get married at a botanical garden, in their "Japanese Garden." We only want a casual dinner reception at a restaurant afterwards...

Is it too cheesy if we have the reception at a Japanese restaurant and carry on the theme from the wedding site?

I asked a lady out, she dresses very conservative, never talks about guys and when I sent her some flowers she seemed happy but nervous.

She declined my invite for a date and so I told her I accepted and respected her decision. A few weeks later she told me to forget the whole thing so I thought everything was cool.

A few weeks later (3 months after I asked) she blew up at me for no reason and now seems to ignore me. I've been told that she is gay and I know she has several gay friends. I didnt know this when I asked.

Why couldnt she just move on when I told her I was cool? Particularly as she said to forget it?

here's the deal. i've been with this guy since winter of 2004. we've now lived together for almost 3 years. we've got a very realistic relationship and have been through a lot together yet always come out on top. i know for a fact that he loves me more than anything else in the world (and i him) but when ever the subject of marriage comes up he's so against it. i on the other hand wish to be married. i over heard him talking on the phone to a friend the other day who was telling him that another friend of theirs was getting married. the phone was loud enough that i could hear the person on the other line say to my boyfriend, "so when are you marrying your girlfriend?" and my boyfriends response was, "not for a very long time. that's just not what i'm all about." my feelings were hurt. i just don't know what to do about this situation. i don't want to get married NOW but definitely before i to close to 30. we are even buying a house together this summer!!!! what gives?!?!?!

My baby will be going to work off shore in a week or so and I'm thinking about writing him a love letter, just letting him know things I haven't told him. (I'm not breaking up with him) I'm not wanting him to write back (if he do then that's good, and I don't think that he's a writing type he's 27 and I'm 22.

How do u think he would respond to it?

And 'i do tell him other things, it's not that I'm shy to tell him it's just that I get everything out by writing it down.

Earlier in the week I decided that I should move up towards my boyfriend, so I looked around, found a cheap place, I planned on moving in tomorrow.
The reason I was going to move up there was because my job was up there, and my boyfriend lives up there.
Now that I lost my job yesterday, I got to talking to my boyfriend, and I found out that he never liked me like a girlfriend. We were only dating for 3 months. I told him to give it some time, and he still broke up with me then decided that if he realizes that he wants me back, then we'd get back together. So he wants time alone for a while.
Well, I don't know if I should move in my new place or not. It's not too late for an answer. I am supposed to get a key tomorrow, then leave my $100 deposit.
But I don't know if I want to be up there where the ex is, I'm scared he'll think I'm stalking him.
Although I HATE living with my parents. He wants to be single a while.
I want to move out of my parents place, question is, should I move?

I don't want to bore people with the simple question does it matter because of course it matters, but my question is, if a guy or girl was really nice person, you really thought they were great to chat to, they were intelligent, fun, friendly, made you feel good, just how much does looks matter for this person to make you want to be more than friends? Do they have to look perfect, can they have the odd flaw and you still like them very much?

I was talking to a friend today and he said to me that I am over complicating how easy it is to get dates, he says that too many people are hung up on having to look a certain way to get a date and believing they have no chance with certain men/women, but he said in reality looks don't really matter, of course you cannot look like a slob or if you look terrible its a problem, but if you are 85% of the population and look normal then you should believe you are good enough to date anyone by letting your personality shine.

Do you agree?

My boyfriend and I had been together for 2 years and we planned to conceive a baby in October because we both wanted one and October would give me enough time to graduate before it was born. We had several reasons. First being that we both are very responsible and both have jobs as well as being college bound. His parents have been having a hard time together and we hoped that by taking the stress and drama off of them and puttin git on us with a pregnancy then we could unite them on a single issue and they could rekindle their love. He also has a desperate wish to be a father because when he was 14 he really was the father in an accidental pregnancy however his ex was very cruel and has always denied him any contact with his daughter. All these reason seemed good and we got right on trying. However after 4 months of trying with no luck and the situation with his parents not getting any better he has gone off the deep end and broken up with me. Any advice or comments?

Here in the US I'm used to seeing fat guys with fat girlfriends/wives so I always assumed that there was a mutual attraction among the obese.

However, on a recent trip to Thailand I noticed fat Americans with slim, shapely, young Thai girls and that made me wonder. Are overweight people attracted to other overweight people or are they only together because they have no other choice?
