I've always had weight issues & gone up & down, but I've never - never - never been attracted to heavy men. The slim build is what does it for me, regardless of how much I weigh.

I'm fat (not obese anymore, go me!) and I am not attracted to fat people. It grosses me out because it represents weakness, lack of self-care, weak-will, and basically just not good things. Now, my idea of "fat" starts a few pounds later later than say, Hollywood's idea of "fat", but once you start stretching the human shape past a certain point, things just get gross, imho. I mean, take the *literal* definition of obesity 35% or more body fat. In explicit terms that means over a THIRD of the person's ENTIRE BODY is JUST fat. I can't think of a way where that isn't gross, even if it's happening to your own body.
I have no problem being friends with at people, but I would never date one because sex is important in a relationship, and I am not sexually attracted to fatness.
THAT SAID... Despite not being sexually attracted to it, I understand and respect people who are. Everyone has different tastes and as long as they're not supporting obesity (that is, the point where fatness becomes an undeniable health hazard) I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I also don't agree that being mean to overweight people helps anything. Both psychological and physiological studies have proven, in fact, that it does the opposite, and anyone who is fat can tell you that being picked on doesn't exactly fuel you with exercising energy. Self-care comes with self-love. As with any maladaptive behavior/life skills, you have to fix the underlying issues or nothing can change permanently without constant struggle.

Some are, and some aren't. After getting rejected by a skinny type of girl, yes there is a chance they will start hitting on girls that match their size too. It shouldn't be about looks, though it should be about how compatible you 2 are for each other by comparing your personality, interests, etc.

I don't think so. I think it doesn't really matter how fat or slim you are because it is about love and compatibility. Fat people with fat people or vice versa is probably just a coincidence.

I doubt it. Fat people are just as shallow as everyone else.
I've actually met fat people with high standards before.
