my, fiancee is in Pennsylvania, and the minister was in North Carolina, we only had one witness-who was in Cali-the marriage certificate was filled out but later destroyed-and neither of us applied for a marriage license in our states-is the marriage still legal?

been with bf for almost 3 years. been up and down due to me having pmdd that i struggle with (seeing a counselor and take meds). i also have 3 kids that i care for part-time. i'm 28 and he's 29-no kids, never married.

we've discussed living together-marriage and said one way or the other things had to be figured out by this Feb when my apt lease is up. so far, plan is for me to move in with him (my cat and over half my stuff is at his house now)

got into a little tiff today mostly due to me being a little moody and tired. things seemed ok when we left for work but he won't email or call me back.

a friend of his back home in IL emails him from time to time and emailed him to see how things were w/his life and w/me.

he emailed back not saying anything about me so the friend asked again. he emailed the friend back saying he didnt mention me the first time b/c things are the same-one week good, the next bad. more below and important-please read!!

Ok I am 20 years old and I have a little sister and she is 15. My little sister has just broken my moms heart so bad by writing people on the internet saying she has a bad home and she has to stay in her room all day cause our mom is an alcoholic. Also saying my mom will go off on her for no apparent reason. None of that is true! But my little sister is wanting to go out alone with boys and friends. She has already been caught shoplifting and went to juvinille for and has a court date. And she's also asking on here how do you masterbate? Me and my mom do not know what to do with her anymore. Oh and also my dad is out of the picture. Any advice on what do??? Thankyou so very much!

I live with the father of my son. We are not married. I have several times found in the history section of the computer that he has looked at pictures (soft porn) of very young girls-not nudes. His explanation the first time (nn lolita, child models) was that he missed his daughter (3yrs). His explanation the second time (nn lolita, nn child models) was that he didn't know it was porn. The third--he just got very defensive and I started to make my leaving plans. And recently, I found he had visited a couple sites and actually went into one. It was a 'preteen' site of 6-10 yr old girls in thongs. Apparently he didn't even have to do a google search.

To view child porn soft or hard is not a criminal offence unless pictures are downloaded to a computer, or it is distributed or traded online. And report him? As what? To who?

I want my son to have a family, but I do not want this man around my family (sisters, nieces). Is he really a pedophile if he just looks at pictures?

We agreed two years ago that we would save money and move to nyc so I can try and make it as a writer. Now that I have a job interview, he has changed his mind and wants to stay here in Nevada since he fell in love with his job (a job he can do anywhere.) He is now upset that I have this interview and wont talk about it. I am 32 and carer and relationship time is both ticking. What do I do?

I've been married for 6 years and we've bickered and argued from the beginning. mostly little things, and usually my fault (he makes me feel like it is).

When we argue, and my husband gets mad, he'll stay mad for days and will ignore me completely. I try to say sorry/hug him, etc, and he'll not even look at me. He just ignores me and says nothing.

I feel he's unfair by not addressing and talking about the problem. I'm always the first to say sorry even if I'm the one who got mad in the first place. I cant stay mad for too long.

2 weeks ago we got into a fight (definitely his fault) and I was mad and tried to ignore him (to make him see what it feels like). HE ended up ignoring me BACK and I ended up trying to apologize for it. Again.

I'm fed up of his immaturity. What do you think? Is it ok for a grown up to act this way? How should I address him when he's ignoring me? I feel like my self respect dies a little each time i try to make things better, but he seems to enjoy it

i had a fight with them because i was saying that 41/60 isnt a good maths exam mark and 22/30 isnt a good test mark. they got really pissy at me because they got lower than me and they said i was insulting them so they didnt talk to me for the rest of the day! my other friend told me that they had called me lesbian because i dont have a boyfriend or go out with guys a lot and they've bitched about me behind my back. i had no idea they were like that. i honestly thought they were truthful, friendly people but i was proven wrong. there are only two days of school left. should i make up with them, i didnt start the fight, they did.
and we are 15 years old!!

Would you say that the best time of your life was when you were a young woman, having fun and living your life for yourself

OR

when you had children and were a 24/7 mother?

before you realized you should quit going after "bad boys" ?

Also, about how old were you when you figured out it would be a good idea to start appreciating guys that know how to treat you right?

P.S. (got dumped a few months ago by a girl for some rich investment banker who treated her like $hit, now she wants me back... can't decide what to do)

I was having a cup of cofee with my gf, and we were discusssing different topics when she said "you know I can learn a lot about a man, by the way he treats his mother." Do you find this statement true, and what patterns do you look at to see how the mom is being treated?

My boyfriend is very caring and loyal. One day he admitted that when he saw me from afar, he thought to himself "oh my god, she has a nice ***,"not knowing who I was. From that moment on, my female instincts have been annoying the heck out of me. I am jealous of all attractive girls, I am determined to look my best, and I am worried that my boyfriend looks at other girls.

Men (and women) look at eachother to determine whether the other one is attractive, as an unwritten rule I guess. Lately, a lot of people I personally know have cheated on their significant others. It seems that women are doomed. There will always be another attractive woman out there for my boyfriend. I want to stay comfortable in my own skin, but I am now insecure.

Advice? Consolation? Shut me up?:(

My mother recently (August 30th) had a stroke at the relatively young age (for stroke patients) of 63. She's paralyzed on the right side and she is aphasic and aproxic. This is an incredibly stressful / painful time for my sister and I, the two primary caregivers (mom was divorced and lived alone...).

We're at a stage where we need to think about her long-term care options, and are interested in getting perspective from others on the choice between Board and Care versus Nursing facilities. She requires max assist, meaning she needs to be transferred out of bed to be toileted, etc. She has functioning of her left side, and can feed herself and she has decent motor control.

Anyway, please share any thoughts that you might have on the topic. We are hopeful that she will recover, but we are preparing for the potential of a long-term max assist living situation.

Thank you.

I'm still single, but I find it interesting that many of my friends/family are in relationships which one person (usually the man) "loves the other more." Unfortunately I see lots of problems, arguments which end in unhappy unions or divorce.

But I've seen couples - not many - which both the man and woman are totally infatuated with each other, hardly have problems, etc... even 40 yrs after being married.

Many of you may disagree with me, but do you believe most couples out there "settle" once they think that's it? Or were you able to find the love of your life? (and if so, how is it now?)

So I occasionally hang out with a girl I like. She knows I like her, but I've never told her how much, I kind of just hint at it. So the reason why I hint is that every time we go out, she flirts with other guys and she does it in front of me. At first I thought she liked me because she did the same thing to me. At the end though she still keeps hanging out with me. What do you think, do you think she's punishing me for not being aggressive enough or is she just a chronic flirt and doesnt really like me?

I asked a question yesterday and got shot down. Full details are. My boyfriend from 14 years ago has come back into my life by pure chance. He is now married with two children. I am not a home wrecker and never want to be. However, we have both felt old feelings coming back after such a long time. Neither of us know's what to do, we are both scared about doing any thing for fear of hurting his family. He is not the hurtful type and I know he doesnt' want to be feeling these things. The fact remains that we both are. What do we do? We have to work together, does it mean that one of us has to move to a different job. But at the same time I really value him as a human being and want to spend time with him. HELP. I am really struggling with this, and I can't eat or sleep.

Okay I don't give a fu** what anyone says. If you love someone enough to marry them then you will stay with that person no matter what. No matter what. NO MATTER WHAT!

That means no dishonor. No cheating. Let me repeat that.

No cheating.

Yes, that's right. N-o c-h-e-a-t-i-n-g. No cheating. Period

what is so hard about that. You're married. Why would you want to cheat?

When I get married, I will never cheat. Because I would rather DIE than break my woman's heart.

HONOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my bf of 2.5 years dumped me 6 weeks ago and three weeks ago he came to drop off my stuff and we ended up sleeping together. He then told me that he still loved me but didn't want to date me, & said he still wanted to have sex with me because he didn't want to have to wait until he found someone else. Naturally, I was not okay with this & we haven't really talked since. I regret having sex with him then and I do NOT plan on letting it happen again.

A week after that, pictures of him with a new girl began to surface and last night one of our mutual friends confirmed that he is indeed seeing this girl. However, my friend also told me that she had visited my ex less than a month ago and all he did was talk about how much he missed me. Then I hear from another friend that the last time she talked to my ex (which was just over a month ago) he kept talking about how he wished things had worked out with us and how he hoped someday we'd end up together...
