Ex has to show up to court to "Show cause" he's in contempt of court for 20,000.00 of child support, the state is requesting he be thrown in jail, and whatever else the court feels like doing.

Is there a 99.9% possibility that he will be tossed in jail?

i'm a senior in high school and i'm datin a 23 year old guy . hes a senior in college . he barely talks to me and always says that hes not a phone person but tells me that he loves me ! everytime he talks to me its to ask me for money or sex . and he wont even let me even touch his phone, not that i ask for it ! and i even be buyin him jordans all the time !! we've been together for 6 months and he hasnt bought me anythin !! i spent more than two thousand dollars on him over the summer !!! what should i do ?? am i gettin played ??

My Girlfriend normally does the cooking at our appartment.

It all started when I thought I'll get my family together. Bad decision.
My girlfriend brought a dish, etc. and people started comparing food, just toying with her. But she didn't take it as a joke.
That was yesterday.
Now she's putting on her 11y/o girl tantrum all day and always reminding me about yesterday's get together. She's starting to bear-hug my leg - and not letting go!

What do I with her?

After 17 years of marriage, I finally divorced because i just wasn't happy. we tried everything but we are just too different for each other. It killed me to leave him and I feel like a failture. Anyway, I met this wonderful man who makes me feel at peace at all levels, but I just can't seem to give him 100% of me. he has been complaining on spending money to me but yet i find out threw his sister that he send 50$ to his mom in colombia last week, am thinking why did he not say this to me, why can he do what ever he wants when it comes down to money, than i ask why didn't he tell me nothing he said is no big deal, so yes i feel a bit hurt by this only becuz he kept it from me and he preches on me about money. so what do u think am i being childish, let me tell you his mom she has a husband and a grown working daughter so she's taken care of but there has been a history of her depending on her son for money for a long time now.

I am so happy on yahoo! answers I have learned that in the USA there are good, decent, honest, hardworking and caring people who respect marriage and the family and want the best for their kids !

So i want to come back for a family holiday. Please could you let me know how much i need, we want to travel on Amtrak and explore, sleeping mainly on the trains and sometimes in a Motel (near to a station of course). How is the public train and bus service these days ? Will all doctors and hospitals accept our european travel insurance? How much are decent restaurants and diners (eg. rice and fish, how much) and how about the homeland security (will we have to give fingerprints) How about if we fly to Canada and sleep on the train to US?
Do some states have gun free zones ? Is it safe to walk around at night in small towns ? Is it family friendly ?

how can i forgive and not feel bitter about someone thats hurt me when the person that hurt me i see all the time, like my mum... She robbed me of all my money from the age of 15 - 19 years old, she made me feel like i was a prisoner in her home. She had no respect for me at all. She had total control over me, i couldnt go out with friends because i had no money. Now im 32 years old, my sister has just moved house and she's dishing out money like theres no tomorrow and she swears to me she can never pay me back the money she owes me. I kept a diary of how much money she took off me. I feel so bitter and hurt and i get upset when i talk about it. She says i should just get over it and move on. How do i deal with this hurt and bitterness and am i ever going to be able to forgive her?

I'm single & have lived alone for 18 yrs. I'm unemployed & doing SOME housecleaning making VERY little money to get by. I have NO family to loan me money & NO assets to sell for cash & a '94 Civic that's NOW needing various repairs. Rents due & I DON'T have it & have NO place to go. I asked a girlfriend I've known for 30 yrs to move in & SPLIT the rent, etc., for a couple of months to avoid eviction. My girlfriend agreed since she too has money issues BUT, she HAS family whom have given her thousands, a 2004 PT Cruiser, 2005 fully loaded Ford Focus, a Harley Davidson, lots of nice jewelry, an earth contact home she's waiting to move into as soon as her ex-husband moves in 2 months, IRA's & retirement savings & a marine gentlemen whom she practically lives with PLUS she makes approx. $700 or more doing internet real estate AND she has a 17 yr son.
My girlfriend & I agreed ONLY she would move in while her son lives with a classmate until he graduates H.S. next May.
Without 1st discussing with me, she's moving her son in too BUT tells me she is paying $250 of the $500 rent & HASN'T found the time to arrange the cost of her paying half (1/2) of ALL the utilities PLUS cable/internet. ALL my furniture including my washer/dryer will be used EXCEPT for her son's bed.
I have MY ex boyfriends laptop & plan to sell his laptop to help pay a portion of my rent due. I have counted on selling it since I have NO other assets. etc., to get some cash I DESPERATELY need. My girlfriend WANTS the laptop for her son & says she will give me $75 BUT I can get $150. I've told her this, it pissed her off so she contacted MY ex boyfriend (BEHIND MY BACK), Now MY ex boyfriend says he'll just let her son "use" the laptop.
I'm EXTREMELY pissed since she has been FULLY aware of my plans to sell the laptop for DESPERATELY needed cash & unlike her, I DON'T have big assets NOR family NOR a marine boyfriend---I HAVE NOTHING.
*** I have the laptop in MY possession and MY ex boyfriend does NOT & has NOT cared I have his lap top. I've budgeted $150 & decided NOT to sell her the laptop since she wants to pay me ONLY $75 for it even BEFORE she went behind my back to MY ex boyfriend & I DON'T care if this pisses her off. Am I in the wrong? How would you feel?

we have a spat and she won't let it go. we go in circles, and circles, and circles and circles. I allllways apologize weather I believe I am wrong or not yet she just keeps the circle going. Finally I end up just saying "I have better stuff to do. I apologize...its over with" and I go do my thing. How do you stop the circle? Is it just me or is this a common occurence with women? ( I have 2 sisters). Going in circles ends with fustration and a bigger fight than it should have been in the first place. How do you train a woman to just "let it go"? We broke up once again in October. We really haven't talked, she won't answer my emails. I'm use to this, we've done this for three years on and off. Every Christmas it seems she's angry at me for something. I usually however buy her something nice. Sometimes she thanks me for it and last year I didn't even get a thank you or a Merry Xmas. She didn't start speaking to me again until June, her bday when I sent her Roses. Ok so now not speaking again. She won't return my emails or anything. Do I send her a gift this year? I feel that if I don't she'll think I'm a piece of crap. I usually spoil her. What should I do?

My husband had an affair and she had a baby. He signed a Ack. of paternity which he says he didn't read-which he never reads what he signs. Now she won't cansent to have a test done because he signed it. We live in a different state and have to hire a lawyer from the state she lives in. Which is going to cost a small fortune. like a bloke to be genuine when he's trying to chat you up? Or would you sooner him come out with the real him? Do you like it when he tries to impress you with his job, his moter,his education, the number of birds he has been out with and all the other things? What would you think if he told you the truth? That he was selfish, inconsiderate, had a lousy job and had a hard time pulling a bird? Would you admire him for his honesty or would you just give him the elbow?
