My brother has come for a visit. He's gone to bed now and here I am, at the computer, burning CD's for him..... like 15 of them. I thought this whole take advantage of your little sister thing might get better with age. Apparantly not?? Does anyone else have an older sibling like this???

Suck it up. You love your bro. Ask him to do something for you. If he refuses tell him no more favors then.

It only happens because you said yes, sure, ok.... Next time he asks you to do something for him, tell him its $5.00 per cd for both your time and labor because you have other things to do and it better be worth your time in front of the pc burning cds for him. Lets see what he says about that. P.S. - all older siblings are mature enough not to take advantage of a grown "younger" sibling. How old are you by the way?

if you don't feel like burning CD's for your brother, then why on earth are you sitting up doing it? unless you don't want him touching your computer, let him do things for himself.
i'm assuming he's a capable adult.. there is no sense in doing things for others which they are perfectly able to do themselves. burning one CD isn't that bad, but 15? he's really taking advantage of you.
you are enabling the guy to use you.... "NO" is a word which you might add to your vocabulary, hon...

I'd love to empathize with you, but I'm the oldest in my family. I'm the oldest sibling, cousin, etc. However, I DON'T take advantage of my siblings, if that helps. (It's more the other way around, where they want me to babysit for free whenever.)

Nah,my older sister and I never get along,and we espicially don't do favors for eachother.Its nice that you like to help your older brother out though. :)

tell him you need money, or a ride to the mall.
and if he says no, drop a burnt disk on the ground and stomp on it.
keep dropping and stomping until you have a new backpack, new shoes, and new jeans.
