They live 90 miles from me. They want me to watch their house so they can go on vacation. I get no benefit at all from doing this. I will be going to college 2 days a week and currently don't have a job. They know this, and now expect me to drive 90 miles and live in their house for 5 days out of 7 for two weeks. This is ridiculous don't you think?
It's not like they live down the street. The weather is crappy this time of year (actually they are leaving next month, which is even worse). Should I tell them to find someone else to watch their house?

If you google it, basically everything comes up that men always want to cheat and at some point do cheat and they act like it's some natural urge men have. At least they're being more fair and saying women are just as likely now. But I mean come on, all that biological crap, not all animals run around mating with anything they can get, penguins pick one partner for life! And marriage has been around for a thousand years! Really now aren't there guys out there who truely love their wife/girlfriend and would never cheat or even think of cheating on her? Do you think it's really as bad as they say?

We just don't talk to one another this way. We just moved, it's been stressful and he's starting a new job tomorrow. we have had problems with communication since before we were married. But we all have to have boundaries and I just feel I'll have no self-respect left if there isn't some consequence or sincere apology (which is very rare). The heated conversation doesn't even fit the offense. There was definitaly sarcasism by me but no name calling or personal attacks. We've been at a crossroad for awhile now. To the point that the new house is in my name only. I'm only 33 ,1st marriage and he is 44 and has been married prior for 13 years- no kids. We've been married just 3 years. I'm miserable a lot of the time but still love him ...I feel crazy. But I do have enough sence to know you can't be calling you spouse "a piece of ****' . What now?

I am basically the crazy person in my family. Everyone in my fam has done exactly what they're supposed to do and they're successful. Are they happy? No idea. I know i'm not all that happy...i feel like everyone must look at me thinking, wow what happened to her. I was divorced by the time i was 25. NOt sure i'll ever get married and if i do i'm sure the guy wont be good enough for my family. I just have no desire to be just like them..yet i do feel bad about it and wonder if my life would have been easier if i'd travelled the way they did. I'm 29 now. Okay. A few X-mas ago I gave my grandparents hand drawn pics of my 3 children for a gift. It happened to be like the only thing they got. After that they did not want to participate in x-mas the way it has been my whole life I am 27. So i took it to heart and have 3 other familys to visit at the hoildays so I started to back away. Not going to the regular holidays with this side anymore. Which is my dads side. They have never helped me out of problems. but I have never asked myself. But they have always given my cousins and my sister everything they ever asked for. even if they never pay them back they still help them. i ordered shirts from my grandma she sells avon. I didnt have all the money right away so she said she would keep them til i did. Shes my Grandma. So any way Its my birthday today and not one person from that side of my family has made any effort at all to even call me. I did nothing to my dad or anyone else. Why to I feel like crap.

I know I asked this not long ago, but there are a few things I wanted to add, and see if that affects people's answers. I'd just edit it in, but so many people answered, it'd get lost.

I have a mild form of OI.

The only way it really affects me now that I am an adult are that I have a noticeable limp, and am kinda short . Flights of stairs are a little hard, and sometimes I need an arm to lean on.

I can't run or jump. Other than that, I can bowl, dance, take walks, drive, and do any other physical activity (including sex).

I've overcompensated by being an overachiever. I've always thought I had to try extra hard if I was going to find love and be happy. I graduated from a fine university with a degree in the double major or pre med and biology. If all goes well, I'll be a doctor in 4 years. I already work as a medical researcher.

I just still doubt its good enough. So what are your thoughts? Any girl out there who'd date a guy like me? Or is the limp a big deal?

though I like talking to him at work. He and his mom are giving me Xmas presents...should I reciprocate? So this isnt really a question but i really need advice or just someone to talk to me about this. Well i lost my step dad who i grew up as my father almost 5 months ago We were really close and i was a daddy's girl....and since i ve lost him i noticed i am a different person i get mad over nothing and just brake out in tears. i love being happy thats who i am. I am a happy go lucky type girl. But lately i have not been. Its like i have to force my self to smile. I hate it and i hate this feeling..I feel lost and like i have no controll. Ok so one of my really good friends likes this boy. Everyone knows she does but him.
