im off to a bad start in jr.high?

ok i heard be4 i started jr.high that it would be my best years.i would meet new friends and stuff like dat.in jr.high i wanted to be known as the funny weird girl who could have alote of friends because i was so friendly...but im startin to think people are lookin at me as the mean girl in jr.high cause im hangin out with a girl who nobody likes becouse everytime someone walks by shes got sometin to say like eww that girl is ugly...now people are gonna think not just me but me and my 2 best friends as the snobby girls were not snobby its just we dont know how to get rid of this girl and she gossips about!i wanted to be known as the one of the friendliest girls not the snob just cause i cant get rid of this snob im hangin out with!please help me!i gotta get rid of her!

Just laugh at her whenever she starts up being nasty. I mean, come on, she is being ridiculous, as this isn't the way to make friends at all!

There is an old saying, "You are who your friends are." If you hang out with the people who are mean to others then you are perceived as being just like them. You can ask them why they act this way to open up a conversation, but please note that you will probably wind up on the other end of the stick and they will start being mean to you as well.

You keep being the nice quirky girl that you are. Be friendly to everyone and eventually all will even out.

Try and tell the girl to be nice. Or that people can see through her. If she is constantly putting people down, it is because she feels low of herself. She needs to put down others to make herself feel better. Maybe that will change her attitude.
You can try and be straight up with her. Tell her that you don't like the things she is saying about people. That you are a friendly person and you don't want to hang out with someone who is so mean to others.
