Okay, there's a lot of backstory here. I have two sisters, we're all close in age, but they've always been especially close. I'm actually okay with that. I was off doing my own thing that they weren't interested in, and that was fine while we were growing up. After I graduated, I went off to college, instead of staying home, and my mom, dad and sisters decided that must mean I no longer want to be a first-class member of the family. My parents were separated for months before they so much as told me, and they only told me because they were about four hours away from having me show up over a weekend and seeing that Dad no longer lived there. God knows how long they would have let me stay in the dark there.

Fast forward ten years. After living out of state because my husband was transferred, we're back, and I don't know, I guess I thought since I live FIVE FREAKING MINUTES from my sisters and mom, they would include me if they go to lunch or go shopping or whatever.

I was married for 14 years. The last 8 years he starting staying at work late. The sex almost stopped. I tried for 7 years to get him to a counslor. To me when your married you do what it takes to keep it going. Finally the last year I gave up. We finally ended and within 2 days of me moving out he started inviting his 23 y.o. secretary to the house. She has been there every night for 2 months. They say they did not have a relationship prior to the divorce. How many of you think there was a relationship prior? And why do this? I have no faith in people anymore. Someone please explain to me why someone would ruin a 14 year marriage for someone half their age and drag three little kids along for the ride.

Rahhh im freaking 24 and my parents hate my boyfriend b/c of his job, b/c hes not a doctor or lawyer or whatever, he's a pest control agent. Regardless of how he treats me and I am happy, they hate him, causing uuber fighting matches. They haven't even tried to get to know him. And he knows they hate him...UGH! Any suggestions?

My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage, and having kids and we've decided to wait because we're both still in college, and having to work all the time just to make ends meet. It would be totally selfish to have children right now we both know that, and we decided to wait until after school for marriage just because it's the smart thing to do.

The issue is very time someone invites me to a wedding, I hear of someone else getting married, or having a baby... my heart sinks a little bit.


The question is this.

I can deal with this sinking feeling. My boyfriend can not. He feels like he is failing me somehow by not dropping on his knee and proposing, or by giving me a child. Neither is the case. I know we aren't ready. I've told him myself we need to wait it's fine. But he can read me well enough to know it bothers me. How do I put his mind at ease, as well as keep myself from feeling like I'm missing something?

there is this guy that i like but idk if he likes me back because we talk everyday and we always say goodnight to each other but he says goodnight beautiful to me a couple times in a row like day after day, and i will reply goodnight handsome. But then there is this other girl and idk if she likes him or not, but the girl told him that he was a player, so would she still like him after she told him that or what?? My mom read my diary, and i had some things in there i didnt want anyone to know about.
Im dating one of my friends cuzins, hes in grade 12 and im
in grade 9, when im with him I tottaly forget about the age difference, but i wrote in my diary that i'm starting to actually LOVE this guy. Theres this girl in my music class that I have noticed but have started to see that she was pretty. Ok last week in class she gave me kinda long eye contact, she kinda had like a soft look with a TINY smile on her face. She was talking to another guy and she kept on looking back at me when she was talking to him. She defianlty looked at me, she did 3 quick glances Yesterday I was going to the parklot and she appeared out of nowhere. I don't think she noticed me but I wanted to talk to her, but I was scared. We're getting hitched on December 6th. That's about a month from now. Lately, I've been thinking things like am I doing the right thing and is he really the one for me. It's kinda silly since I know he's the one for me and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather spend the rest of my life with. Lately, my insecurities have been popping up and I find myself eating more (my reaction to stress). I know I shouldn't be stressing since he's a wonderful person and I don't see anyone else I'd rather spend the rest of my life with. Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy. I've been taking anti-anxiety medicine because I lie awake at night - Can't sleep thinking about the wedding! Part excited, part afraid. Is this normal? It's my first (hopefully my last) wedding.

I know men arent dogs and cant be trained, but this is the only way I can phrase this. My current significant other was with a woman for over 10 years and cheated and she basically condoned his behavior and accepted it. We have been together for 3 years and I found out he had a one night stand. I can sort of see how he would try to pull this on me and try to get away with it, also because I am very understanding & forgiving about many other things. my grandpaw is getting a divorce from my step grandmother. after he had a stroke in feb 07, she had him sign a power of attorney. in august, she went to the life insurance company and withdrew a life insurance policy that was on her. is he able to lay claim to part of that money since they where married at the time?

I married my husband two years ago. Before that, it was just my son and I and things were fine. He seemed to really get along with my son and my little boy liked him a lot. We got married and things were fine for awhile, but lately, since my daughter has been bornl, he has become stricter with him and more inclined to punish him for smaller things that I don't feel are important to merit more than a talking to. My son is a good boy, if a little whiney sometimes, and I am a loving mother, if a little too easy going sometimes, but it has worked for us. Now, I have allowed my husband, who wants to be a father and not a friend, to met out consequence, all except for spanking, which I do, but not hard and not often. I have told my husband not to spank my son, but he has done it a couple times recently. I am not happy about this, but am I not being fair? Maybe stop spankings altogether? Any advice, help, opinions would be most helpful and appreciated.

the guy ive been seeing for a while now, we got into a fight last night- i ended up walking/driving away and i was so hurt. today, i was nice to him and he was civil to me- he told me he wanted to talk- i told him to keep me updated and to let me know when i could meet him tonight.
he finally answers me through text messages- he tells me he's on a boat w/some friends and its not a good time to talk. i write back 'thank you for letting me know. finally. have a good night'
& then he has to come back with something like 'now i have to check in with you? i dont think so'
its something small. its not a big deal. but he knew it would upset me
i know he cares about me
i havent done anything wrong- the fight we had was because of something else he said yesterday. for the past week he's been acting different & i think this is the end of our relationship but i dont understand why he has to be so nasty. im very easy going and sweet. im not a bi*ch. so why does he have2 hurt me even more

When we first started going out like a month ago, he would always wait for me and give me hugs all the time, and write long notes. But since last week or so he doesn't write half as many notes and if he does, they're super short. he hardly gives me any hugs. he still waits for me, but he leaves sometimes without saying hes going and I don't know why. any one have any ideas whats going on?
and he used to say I love you all the time but now he rarely does.

Shes going to a dress up party as a "sailor". the costume is basically a white mini skirt that pracically shows her butt, and the top is a button up shirt that shows A LOT of cleavage, and a little sailor hat. She says its cute but it looks so slutty. The party shes going to has alcohol, and no adult supervision (shes 16) and she plans on drinking and possibly getting drunk. I figure a drunk girl who is so scanalty clad around horny guys at a party will get taken advantage of or raped and she wont listen to me so I said ill tell her mom and she said she wants to leave me! My boyfriend and I were together for two years. He is an amazing guy with an amazing personality. I fell in love with him fast and grew a serious attachmet to him because we almost had a baby together. Half way through our relationship, I started to get suspicious and felt that I had to snoop through his text messages and emails.
