Friendly ISN'T flirtatious, so don't get confused on that. The real meaning behind friendship is understanding, so if its not on a deeper level then how attractive, funny, or anything simpler then that, then NO. If it's deeper then it really can only help the deeper relationship which is the marriage, if its not dysfunctional.
