Introduce yourself and then ask him open ended questions and not yes no questions. Ask him stuff like does he plan to go to college and if so, which college and what will be his major. The strategy is to get him to talk about himself cuz guys love to talk about themselves and this curiosity of yours will make him like you.

Make sure none of your friends are around when you start talking to him... Then say hi and ask how he's doing. Show interest in him but make sure you seem 100% sincere. :) Ask if there is a way that he and you could talk sometime. Then when he says sure, give him your number. Leave it at that. Tell him to call you that night. Walk away but don't laugh at all. He may think its a joke. :)

Start a conversation with him that seems necessary. For example, ask him where something is, how to do something, etc. Then throw some 'small-talk' remarks in there to let him know you aren't just trying to squeeze information out of him.

He probebly does'nt notice you and finds his work very interesting. that is probebly what is cute about him. Im the same way. (although I may not be what you consider cute, check out my avatar)
Buy a candy bar and when he gets up, discretly slip it into his back pocket. Remember discretly! he will probebly notice that and thank you. A definate conversation starter for sure. Always works for me. Although im single now.

i would start with just some simple talking about the glass theat your in. then after the catch him in the hallway and ask him to go do something low profile with you....like a school football game with other school friends.

I've got the same problem. Just try going up and confronting him. You wouldn't want to wait too long. Just try and start a conversation with him.

ask for his name, compliment the way he's dressed, ask him how his day is going/if he likes the health class, & then wait a few seconds & ask in a joking tone of voice; "I'm not bothering you am I?-please say I'm not!"
