Trying to figure out how he feels about me???

there is this guy that i like but idk if he likes me back because we talk everyday and we always say goodnight to each other but he says goodnight beautiful to me a couple times in a row like day after day, and i will reply goodnight handsome. But then there is this other girl and idk if she likes him or not, but the girl told him that he was a player, so would she still like him after she told him that or what?? I am just so confused and tonight he didnt say goodnight beautiful. so what id that supposed to mean???? HELP HELP HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
