I find myself liking boys more if I spend more time with them. I might not think their cute in the beginning, but overtime they become cute. It might take awhile (like a year), but if we stay friends, I become more attractive to them. Is this normal? Have you had the same experience? I wonder if anyone that you hang out with can someday be your crush. Even though you might not think of them as a possibility right now.

sometimes i feel like i'm having anxiety attacks when i can't see or talk to my bf. i dont even know why it happens and i tried to talk to counselors on campus but one was "in training" and pretty much made me feel worse, and the other one had a waiting list of over a month.

why do i feel so anxious/nervous when i'm not talking to or spending time with my bf? am i really just that dependent on him? any tips to not be so dependent on my bf to be happy?

fyi we're 21 and 22, at different colleges 3 hours away...but next semester we'll be in the same town.

He says he loves me , but has told me before he wasnt in love with me, then back to he loves me . this all started when i caught him trying to hook up on line with others, then started taking another girl to lunch everyday and saying he can have friends if he wishes never let me have male friends. then one day said if he wasnt with me he could be with someone else . then said there wasnt noboby not doing anything iam nuts . and that all he does is go to work and come home.I believe that its between work and home Iam worried about being he can say hes working somewhere and be doing something else. tells me just sick of my mistrust, well when i trusted him he was trying to hook up with someone else, and that was before he gotdeployed put me in debt. tried to make sure i got nothing, ignores my hurt and pain tonight for example hes in the living room sleeping . because I got some womans appointment card in the mail with her name and our address we been here for 10 years so first time mail

I am just curious. How can you tell if someoneis actually sleeping and is possible to ask them questions while their sleeping to get the truth? Will They tell the truth outloud while their sleeping? I just heard before that if you ask a question while their sleeping you will get the truth. Is that true?

I went out on a 2nd date with this guy and during the date, we planned to see each other 2 weeks from now b/c I have to go on a trip this weekend. Tonight he asked me what day i'm coming back from the trip. I asked why, and he said "Was hoping to see you sooner?" So i replied "thought we couldn't, i'm coming back on monday." I now realize he probably meant he wanted to see me this tuesday, Election Day. I feel like my reply sounds dumb. It was obvious that we couldn't hang out during my trip, but i didn't realize he meant tuesday. Will he think I'm dumb? Also, I'm trying to play hard to get b/c i don't want him to think i'm easy and always available.

A couple of weeks ago an older women ( she's 35, I'm 22) gave me her number after working on a project toughter. She came over twice, but nothing happened between us, even after she told me she likes guys to take charge. I went as far as too ask for a kiss, but she said "no", and gave some lame excuse for why she couldn't kiss me. So, a 35 year old women, wants a 22 year old as a friend? Anyways, I was confused after she left and haven't felt like calling for another rejection. But today out of the blue she called me " too see how I was doing" Which I thought was weird, because why would you want to hang out or even talk too someone you rejected? Do you think she was just plating hard to get. It's not like I really want her, because I am just getting ouy of a relationship of 2 years and don't have the energy for another women. What do you think I should do regarding this older women? I it was you, what would you do?

She used to not be jealous, well atleast she didn't show it, but know she's so jealous. Everytime I hang-out with my friends she gets jealouse and starts saying, "are you guys going to break necks, holla a chicks??" "go on and get 7 digits." I get so mad because she knows I'm not like that.

(on the side note)
I don't tell her anything like that when she talks or hangs out with her friends.)

Her Aunt and her female cousins after the first week we got together told her how I used to be when I was single. First they said that I was a nice guy and that they like me alot. I don't know what happen but they got mad at me like half a month later and they began to say that I used to be with girls and more girls and so on, which is not true. My girl knows how I am, but all of a sudded starting like two months ago she has become very jealous of me talking with friends or just people that talk to me out of nowhere.

all I know, is that I can't really take it that much anymore

My boyfriend lies about little things.. like what time he goes to bed, what time he wakes up...what he did last night/yesterday..what he ate that morning..like the smallest little things that don't really matter...(i know he's lying because i've caught him many times but we just shrug it off cuz it's about stupid things anyways) but now i feel like everything he says can't be trusted and that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie... even when he says "I love you"...it makes me really sad and why does he even lie about small things!! what should i do?

If so, I would suggest being smart and pretty is quite a combination, I have a decent IQ of 130 and it's really hard to find women who are intelligent, I know some women are smart but think that looks are a bigger priority and being smart as being undesirable especially some women with a larger cup size I've noticed feel like they have to play the part of cute and clueless, I've even had women say they act like they don't know anything about subject "x" because they want the guy to feel smart telling them about it

She walked out on me and returned months later, asking to come back. I took her back, insisting on different bank accounts and not reintroducing her back to my son (from prev. marriage) who loved her. We're trying to work it out by dating and starting over, but its still in the back of my mind that she will leave again even tho she says she wont. Her family was very upset that she left me so now im thinking shes back just cause of them. I thought by starting fresh with everything it would clear my head and regain trust. I'm not sure if i love her anymore either. Do love and trust come back again, or is it that once they are gone, they're gone? I dont know how long I can wait for them to come back or is it a futile wait?

my wife is straight and always has been. she has had some encounters with two of her girlfriends while in high school. we have been married for 3 years now and life is great and everythign is fine. but we were re-enacting a movie we were watching when 2 girls were tag teaming 1 guy and she said she thought that it might be fun. i agreed we went on and i played it off as a heat of the moment type thing until we were out in the store (not a bar no alcohol involved) when she leans over to me saying it would be awsome to see this woman looking at clothes please me or for them both to please me. once again i agreed but blew it off. 4 years ago i would have walked up to her and asked if she would like to join us but being married i know not to get trapped by trick questions but these seem different. is she trying to tell me something? is she bi? if so, now what?

Some stuf happened at work and disciplinary actions will be taken against my boyfriend.. He's all upset about it and I understand how he felt... I probably would feel that way too if the same thing were to happen to me..

Thing is it's more than a week and he hardly spoke and don't want to meet up with me.. He only text message me to say good morning and called me to say good night..

I'm not angry that he's upset... I'm angry that he choose to drag this feeling instead of moving on... I'm angry that he didn't want me to get involved in times like this..

And this is not the first time he's doing this to me..

I tried countless times and ways to cheer him up... It makes me sad everytime, there seem to be little or no change in him..

I have spoke to him about my concerns.. He only apologised and sank back into his silence..

I don't want to leave him.. I love him and want to stand by him especially in his bad times.. But if he keep this up, I, myself would fall apart.. Help

. . . seem to not be able to work it out and stay together forever. Why is that? Has anyone done just that and realized that it isn't working the 2nd time around? How long did it take for you to call it a final quits?

When a guy says that he "falls hard and fast" what does it mean? Is it that he's in it a short time only, and that he will leave once he gets what he wants?
I met this guy 7 months ago in a club and although we talk on the phone a lot we have only seen each other twice since we live a couple of hours away. At the beginning, he contacted a friend of mine to get my #, saying he cared about me etc. My friend gave me his # but as I was skeptical at first, I took some time to call back. And so this friendship/relationship developed. I believe he really wants to be in a relationship bad and the distance I think may be an issue for him since he keeps saying that he wants to spend time with me and " wake up with me in the morning and serve me tea". Is it just lust or infatuation on his part? I really like him, but not sure what to do now.

My husband & I have moved into my mother in law's house so we can take care of her. My sister in law who is an animal lover (which I am too) used to stay with my mom in law, but since we are moving in (and sister in law is basically getting her freedom back) we have asked her (over a freakin month now) to get all her animals. My mom in laws house is only 1100 sq feet & my sis in law had a yorkie dog (has mange), a friggin howling tom cat that howls all night long, a full grown german shepperd that has had 3 litters of puppies already under my mom in laws house. WE HAVE BEGGED HER TO MOVE HER WILD KINGDOM DOWN TO HER HOUSE, BUT SHE IS TAKING HER SLOW *** TIME ABOUT IT. Well it is 1:37 am right now & her crazy cat has woke me up howling again. I have opened the front door and I am hoping it will have the ballz enough to come in here (it hates me) & want to go on out the front door, where I want it. Should I have patience for another week (while I go insane without sleep) or............

Ok heres the deal:
Next week my boyfriend is taking me with him to meet his family because a family member is getting married. I have only been to about 2 weddings in my entire life, and I have no clue what to wear! He said something about semi-formal but I still have no idea! Hes mainly taking me to show me off, but I don't want to wear anything that would give a bad first impression as either too showy, or too modest...
What should I wear?

OK! I POSTED THIS QUESTION BEFORE, IT GOT DELETED AND IM AGGRAVATED!!

So anyways...

there's this guy i thought i was "cool" with. We talked. well, since we have no classes together we only pass each other changing classes! I don't even look at the dude! He's only said 2 things to me this year and i don't say anything to him. when we passed each other. Well, lately, he hasn't been taking the usual route that he usually takes, because i think he's avoiding me. I don't stalk the dude or anything, i mean, we go to the same school, so yeah, im gonna be near him sometimes!

Long story short: he's always thought that i liked him (I DON'T)
he's a good friend, but yeah.

I feel like he looks @ me to see if im looking at him, im NOT.
Well, yeah- is he avoiding me? or is it just a coincidence?

I have been contemplating separating from my husband for several months now, but keep saying, "I'll just give it one more try." or "He's trying. Maybe it'll work out." The truth is, I'm afraid of him. He's never hit my kids or me, but I sometimes find myself cringing because I think he might. He throws things, punches holes in doors and walls, yells, and swears constantly in his everyday conversations. He's nearly hit our children with objects he throws. His outbursts are like temper tantrums, and his mood swings are unpredictable. I often feel belittled. His comments to and about me are often derogatory and degrading, even to people I've never even met before. His behavior has greatly changed in the last few years. I am to the point I just want out, but am afraid that he will retaliate. He has told be half a dozen times to pack my stuff and leave, but never mentions what will happen to our children. I keep telling myself that maybe it's just me, I'm making a big deal out of nothing.

I am a married man of 12 yrs, & have 3kids. My wife is an emotional wreck & is always up & down. She is great with the kids one day & then is screaming at them the next. I am constantly playing referee between them. I have a very close relationship with my children but have lost all interest in my wife as a result. Counselling doesnt seem to change things either.

I have a very good married female friend at work. We talk about absolutely everything. We are extremely close but have never done anything physical together (although office rumours say otherwise). I like her so much that I wouldn't want us to have an affair as I would want her to be a complete part of my life not something I have to hide from the world.

I think about leaving my wife but am afraid that she will take her problems out my kids without me there to protect them. Single dads dont usually get 100% custody.

What should I do?

Hello to all the helpful xtra people, THIS IS THE MOST SERIOUS QUSTION I MAY EVER ASK OF YOU ALL. I'm 28 years old and my brother is 25. So my brother and I were going to go have a beer this evening instead around 6oclock my phone rings it's my brother he tells me that he's racing home because his neighbor caught a burgalar trying to breakin. Understand it was the neighbors house being burgarlized... The cops leave and the dust settles we find out the burgalar got away and the whole neighborhood was up in arms. My brother calls me up and says I'm comming over to pick up the Beretta (a 9mm semi auto handgun that holds 16 rounds), to make a long story short I said no, and gave him about five good reasons why. You should know he lives in crappy neighborhood and burgalaries are quite common there. This was the first reason why I didn't feel comfortable lending him the gun. I want to know how you feel about this I'm confident I made the right decsion, but I' like to hear yours too...
