My boyfriend lies to me about little things..now I feel like everything he says is a lie..?

My boyfriend lies about little things.. like what time he goes to bed, what time he wakes up...what he did last night/yesterday..what he ate that morning..like the smallest little things that don't really matter...(i know he's lying because i've caught him many times but we just shrug it off cuz it's about stupid things anyways) but now i feel like everything he says can't be trusted and that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie... even when he says "I love you"...it makes me really sad and why does he even lie about small things!! what should i do?

think about it like this if your bf is able to lie to you about little things whos to say he wont lie about the big things, he's proving to you now that he's very capable of it. It makes no sense as to why he feels the need to lie about those types of things to you, but it definitly is no good and really wrong to lie in general. I mean he isn't saying you look amazing when you feel like **** and need to hear a white lie he's just straight up lying to you for no reason at all. i couldn't be with someone that was like that with me like you said you feel like you can't trust him now and i would feel the same, and because of that feeling i would have to end the relationship sooner then later before he did start lying about bigger more important things.

I know a guy like that, and I feel the same way. I just told him not to expect me to believe anything he says,because I have caught him lying too much. I just lost interest. I don't even like friends that lie much less a guy I date. I always assume that if he will lie about little things, the more important things he says are probably lies too. He always tells me that he loves me too. I don't believe it, or anything else, and I really don't care anymore!! I have gotten tired of trying to sort out what is true, and what are lies.
