I went out on a 2nd date with this guy and during the date, we planned to see each other 2 weeks from now b/c I have to go on a trip this weekend. Tonight he asked me what day i'm coming back from the trip. I asked why, and he said "Was hoping to see you sooner?" So i replied "thought we couldn't, i'm coming back on monday." I now realize he probably meant he wanted to see me this tuesday, Election Day. I feel like my reply sounds dumb. It was obvious that we couldn't hang out during my trip, but i didn't realize he meant tuesday. Will he think I'm dumb? Also, I'm trying to play hard to get b/c i don't want him to think i'm easy and always available.

If he brings it up again, just tell him you didn't understand what he meant and you're sorry if you confused him. Let it go at that. You will sound as if you want to see him but you are not always available.

Just tell him that you were thinking that if he really wanted to get together, you could spend some time with him on Tuesday before you leave. Tell him that you thought that you might need Tuesday to get ready, but everything is falling into place faster than you thought.

okay you don't sound dumb if he thinks you are thats his view but i think your were occupied with holdays thought and being not to available oh hint don't be unavailable all the time because he will view you that way, i don't mean be easy find a middle ground show interest if you are interested etc

mission accomplished.. let him think about questions like these honey, if you are playing hard to get, you actually have to let him dangle, and not secretly wonder if your messages are dumb. only give him indications that you like him in person, and with subtle touches... he'll drop out of school if it would earn him more attention from you after awhile

your thinking way to hard on this one....if you like him call him up and say my schedule has freed up would you like to grab a bite to eat.....if u dont want to be easy dont jump his bones on the first date....or the second....all these games are dumb and beat around the bush....guys like girls who can be forward and know what they want!
