Since my separation, They know I have 2 kids and money is tight. They want me to go out with them drinking and have some fun, their treat. I don't drink and I have not had a beer or anything in over 2 years. I can't bring myself to go, because I feel I should pay my own way and I don't want to leave my kids to go do something like that. Since my separation, I do have full custody of my kids and I don't want to give any one any reason to think I am a bad father. Right now, every one says I am a good father and I do not want to lose that rep. What do you think? Should I take just one night a month and go hang out with them I know I would not drink. I am more comfortable ordering a coke at a bar than a beer. Plus I could be the designated dummy. What do I do? Thanks

I was married to a guy for 2 yrs. I really believe he has Narsassistic Personality disorder. I am probably spelling it wrong, but the DSM IV says if he has 5 out of 9 of the traits he has it, he has 9/9. Our marriage is over now, I am filing for divorce, but what all if anything did anyone of you go through with someone with this disorder. How do you deal with someoen who is completely in love with themselves?

My husband is constantly telling me I'm a bad mom with unhealthy habits because I choose to stay up late after the kids go to bed. On the weekend they will try to stay up sometimes, but never past 10:00PM. My husband's work schedule is 5:00am to Noon, with 2 weekdays off and I work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. I always try to respect his need to sleep and keep thing quiet, but he is convinced This makes me a "tweeker" and claims I do not care about being with him. He thinks if I don't go to bed when he does means I don't care about him or "want him". Is it so terrible to enjoy a little time at night to read or just be alone? With 4 children and a full time job I really feel this is the only time I can have to myself. When we get home at night I'm very busy with homework, dinner, etc. I don't really wind down until late. Is there something wrong with staying up after everyone else is asleep? What makes this such an "unhealthy lifestyle" as he puts it?

I am 19 and my boyfriend is 27 we have been together for just about a year. Before me he was with a 30 year old for just under 4 years. They were having issues so he left her and immediately persued me. anyways about 3 months into our relationship he confessed to me on his own that he cheated on me with her, i forgave him because he seemed sincere in his apology and i love him. He hasnt cheated since but she still calls him (i know this cuz he tells me) and it bothers me when she does call.. so i called her once to tell her i would appreciate it if she left us alone, and my boyfriend got mad at me for doing that. he says she is only a friend now and nothing more and he likes to keep in her girls lives (which are not his) since he was there for them for years. This girl is psycho and even tried showing up at my work to talk to me, i hate that he talks to her, but am i right in thinking that? or should it be ok he still talks to her? i need help...

I've been with my bf for two years and until 3 months ago have been very much in love. We were planning a trip together, were saving for a house and had spoken about marriage. But, a few months ago I fell for someone at work. I had always had a bit of a crush on him, but never had any intention of pursuing it. At my work dinner we had a party pash, and I told my bf, who forgave me. But after this, I starting feeling really strongly for the guy from work, and eventually slept together. I broke up with my bf, saying I was confused and needed a break.

Since then, it looks like the guy from work was just using me. My bf and I am back together, but I am really heartbroken about what happened with the guy from work. I feel like I shouldn't be with my bf if I have such strong feelings for someone else, even if they are unrequited. I dont want to throw away something really special for a silly crush. But if I really loved him, how could I have had such strong feelings for someone else?

So lots of guys - especially in high school - (where i am now) date girls for a few weeks and then get vo==over them and dump them, sometimes for another girl.
why? what is going on in your guys'sheads? tell me please, how does a guy think in terms of girls....you know how sometimes, when guys are single they will hookup with a random chick every now and then? explain how you guys think. you obviously dont date every single one you hookup with, when you do date one, does that mean you did have some feelings for the girl? my situtaion is that ive just been dumped after only 3 weeks of dating and he used the classic "we really need to talk...we dont talk enough..theres no emotional connection...all we do is makeout and im not really into that stuff...its not working out." what a load of bullshit. im just really trying t ounderstand males... i know he kind of likes another girl and i am confused as to why he wouldnt jsut tell me that he liked someone else

I'm a Malay girl from Singapore and have always fancied mixed guys especially half back half white guys.Over here in Singapore, most of the foreign guys I see are whites.Hardly the mixed ones.I find their features intriguing.By the way I'm mainly Malay with Indian and Chinese blood.I never had a boyfriend(it's not because I'm choosy). What do you think my chances are with a mixed guy?.

my husband is at work and normally i feel totally at ease in the house by myself. Never frightened or uncomfortable.
but tonight my neighbours are having a bit of a party in their backyard.
we have no fence (can't afford one yet) and the friends keep looking over at and into my house and standing next to my garage loudly talking about what I own...
it's making me edgy and i'm too uncomfortable to go outside.
has this ever happened to you? what did you do?

should i stay inside and avoid any confrontation from drunk boys that are yelling and being silly? or should i face my fears and hang out the washing...?

okay so theres this guy that talks to me a lot for no real reason, and is kinda childish in the sence that he thinks it's funny to take my stuff and run. He asked me out a couple of years ago and I said no, I'm not all that sure that I like him but i just really want to know. He also says bad things to me a lot, but I don't think it's actually him being "mean." Also, a few of my friends who know him better than me say bad things about him. He also helped another guy last year and the year before to ask me out (but he did instead.) Also, if he does like me and I decide that it's worth a try, than how (consitering I shut him down once before and everyone laughed at him) do i let him know..... I'm too shy to ask him out or tell him straight up... so ya, help me.... any way that I can test to see if he does like me at all without a doubt, or close to it, well.. actually anything at all? He also asks me things like what I'm doing for halloween etc, and also if I'm going to the dance..help?

This girl got her zipper stuck and she was in the bathroom. She called her boyfriend to unzip it to make it go up. Now, as he went in her little brother slammed the door and locked the key from the outside. From then on the couple knew they were meant for one another... Yes, they got married in the bathroom.

I am a 21 year old Christian college student and so is my boyfriend. We both want to take an 8 hour drive to another city in our state to see a concert at another college. My parents are giving me grief about going on a "roadtrip" with my boyfriend but I feel I shouldn't have to ask their permission at my age. The venue is on the campus of the college and we'd be staying for three nights with my boyfriend's church friends that are a brother and sister that have an apartment together near campus. My father is very overbearing because I am the baby of the family...do you think, as Christians, I ought to go?

there is a girl i like but not sure if she likes me back. We have been good friends for the past few months and she says she likes talking to me because "Im not like most guys" but the thing is she sends alot of mixed signals.

I am very good at being the "friend" to girls but i seldom go past that.

I really like this girl and don't know what to do. If i tell her she might reject me and our friendship will be weird along with the chemistry with our group of friends. But getting rejected by her may be the only way for me to move on. On the other hand I could tell her... and wonderful things might possibly hopfully happen.

What should i do? wait? tell? bury it within me? help

my boyfriend is a wonderful person...as long as I don't ask him to talk about some of the stuff he went through growing up. he had a very hard childhood and sometimes we'll be talking and I touch upon a sore subject and he snaps at me and basically tells me to mind my own business (not in those exact words). he CANNOT deal with what he went through and trying to talk about any of it makes him very angry. never violent, but rude and disrespectful. sometimes he'll admit that he has a lot of anger leftover from being treated poorly as a child but other times he completely denies that there's a problem. my question is this....Can we have a happy healthy relationship if he never deals with what he went through? Should I respect his decision to not discuss certain things so that we can avoid arguments?

for example: because there was a lot of cancer in his family he is very afraid of dying but refuses to go see a doctor. he gets mad at me if I even mention making an appt.
