It depends on the type of job you have. If it is a transitory one, like a part time job while going to college, you can easily do it! You will not be tied down to the job if it something goes severely wrong (like it did in my case!)
But if you are actually perusing your career or desperately need the job for financial reasons. I would clearly stay away.
I have recently been in this position and the girl I dated (for a couple of months) turned out to be very narcissistic. I can stand for a hot girl to be a little "high maintenance," it comes with the territory. But this one was in a league all her own. After I ended the relationship, that's when all hell broke lose at work. Her Mom went literally bonkers TWICE in my office with the door open! My co-worker, to this day, still can't believe what went down the second time Mom lost her head.
And yes, I am all grown up now (at least I think I am sometimes) so I should have known better at the time, but Mommy was still a MILF and her daughter didn’t fall too far from the tree!

It depends. If the mom isnt like your boss at work I guess I would go for it. I mean imagine if things work out between you and the girl. You'd already be on the moms good side. When that happens your GOLD. Because if your on the moms good side your more then likely on the dads by default because he'll have no choice. All the times your girl may complain about you she'll be there to back you up and help your cause. Having a mom as an ally is the best way to make a relationship work. They make and break relationships most of the time......

That isn't a good idea because if you end up not liking this girl or you break her heart, you still have to work w/her mom and the last thing you need is tension on the job.

ooo this is really tricky. I mean if it doesn't work out between you and the daughter, how it would affect the workplace? Tread carefully. Ask to see if you can talk to her as a friend before dating.
