Boy, you sure know how to win friends! (Just being facetious)
Are you planning to hook up with skin heads or the Klan next? If I were your boyfriend, I would RUN not walk to the arms of a female who does not think of wearing symbols that represented the murder of his kin! Allow me to translate this.....he should dump ya like old trash! I am sure your boy friend will be offended! I hope he is so offended he leaves you for good! I am offended and I am not even Jewish! Shame on you!

I'm going to say that it's a good idea, because it will hopefully scare him off. Because I personally don't want to see a fellow Jew stuck with a girl who's so slow she needs to ask if getting the logo of a totalitarian regime that brutally murdered six million Jews permanently etched into her skin in ink might upset her Jewish boyfriend. Do you really think people care that it was an Indian good luck charm a thousand years ago? If you were a guy, would you be asking if it wouldn't be awkward if you got a toothbrush moustache (the kind Hitler had), because you like the way it looks, and Charlie Chaplin had one too?
You know, some people say that "there's no such thing as a stupid question." Deep down, I always knew that was a load of crap.
And I know I just hurt my "best answer" percentage, but it was totally worth it.

It's a bad idea in this day and age to get a tattoo of a swastika. Your boyfriend will be offended. You could offend someone who may react violently. Tattoos are permanent, keep that in mind. You could offend a lot of people. Pick out a different pattern.

I know it may seem like a cool pattern...and its history may not have always been bad...but in today's world it represents the evil that caused the genocide of 6,000,000 Jews - your boyfriend's people. He may even have long lost relatives in Europe that perished in the Holocaust.
It would be a terrible thing for your relationship with him (Jews aren't technically allowed to have ANY tattoos...it prevents them from being buried in a Jewish cemetary) and even though your intentions may be honorable, you will be perceived by many as ignorant, intolerant, and possibly even threatening and dangerous. A swastika is a very scary symbol for many people and Jews, especially, have no desire to see that symbol displayed anywhere, especially on a human body.
On a side note: Would you wear a Ku Klux Klan outfit because it felt comfortable? Just curious.

It's totally your choice.
Frankly - I am GLAD someone is not thinking in stereotypes and are moving on with history... so well done.
However - although you might like it - society itself probably won't (judging by the answers left here) which means that you might want to find a different pattern to get a tattoo of.
I suggest heading to http://tatoodesignparlor.com and looking for tattoo designs on there. You should get some pretty neat patterns in the results.
Good luck!

I seriously think you're dating the wrong guy, or he is dating the wrong girl. I know about the swastikas ancient origins, but what you're proposing would be insulting to him in the least. What's more important a relationship based on love and trust or some provocative body art. If you think there's a basis for debating that, PLEASE find someone else to date immediately. Do not dare insult him by asking his opinion.

Is because the majority of girls want to find a guy who acts like a real man not like a girly and who shows their male powers( not meaning to put his girl down) but women do like tough guys, specially in the sex part, the only problem is that we all want to find a tough guy who is also nice, polite, kind, honest, caring, and funny. And that kind of impossible to have both at the same time.
