yeah yeah, i know its a weird question, but just hear me out please?
i just dont know what to do, my wife just crashed when heard the news and cried till a few days before the funeral. (i mean i dont know about you guys, but i've never been close to any of mine becasue they died pretty early)
i've always been on work abroad to ever get to deep with my wife's family, but even my 3 year old girl Alex cried for a while when she heard about the news. has anyone ever felt like this before? i mean just about someone you barley knew? im probably just going to be "guilted" into attending, but the real situation is that my wife was her only grand kid which i guess is why they'd be pretty close.

now as her husband, everyone is expecting me to go up on stage to say something about a person i've never met! should i even go? it would mean alot to my wife and kid, i know that, but i've also been called to a meeting over in chicago for the rest of the week which is important to my job. advice?

So to make a long story short i work with this guy and we flirt all the time....
and we started texting eachother only he would text me from his friends phone saying he didn't like his phone...
so we talked and stuff and i knew he had a gf but he kept telling me that he wanted to be with me instead... i told him i didn't want to cause problems in his relationship and that we could just be friends but he ept telling me no it was over... so we kept texting and stuff and then he invited me over to hang out on Halloween so i went over to where he said he was and his gf was there... and i was totally polite and sweet no bitchy attitude or rudeness on my part.
and then i had to go home when she pulls me aside and tells me she was pretending to be him so that she could see how i felt about him.
and she played this sick little game for an entire week and called me a slut for trying to be with her bf....
when i thought they were soon to be over....
was i wrong for that?

One cynic described marriage as one year of flame and forty years of ashes. I believe he thought this because he related love to feeling, not to a daily decision. The feeling of love comes and goes and comes back again like your appetite. The commitment of love is unrelenting and sure. Loving commitment is an act of the will – a self-disciplined lifestyle.

He then dumped me, though i cried begged, It sounds so sad when i think about why we broke up today.( sex )
He told me i have put lot of conditons and this is spoiling the relationship.

We are wondering what to put about the reception on the invitations. Should we simply write at the bottom, Reception immediately following ceremony, or something more descriptive like Lasagna and refreshments will be served immediately after ceremony.

I recently posted a question asking y he hasnt called. I now know.. he's being trying to get with my best friend. She called me on 3way so I can hear the whole thing. I'm so crushed, she told him he was a dog for trying to hit on her and he dont deserve me. (She didn't accept his offer) All the quality time we spent, and his little I love you note were just a lie. He's knows that I havent really given to many guys the time of day since my first true love was murdered, but i took a chance 2 date agian and again I get hurt. He told her that he and I weren't serious and that he also has about 2-3 other girls he talking to and he wants to talk to her as well. He asked that she not tell me wat happend. She laughed at him said he's an asshole and hung up.
Wat do I do... should we both bust himshould I do it alone , or should i pretend that I know nothing and just break up with him. I have never been in this situation before

I go to my Grandparents house very often, and the thing that I do most is Laundry. I hang up clothes on the clothes line, and then when I have to bring the clothes upstairs, she gets a little mad at me. I love going upstairs to organize the clothes, but considering she has Parkinsons disease, she most likely thinks that I'm someone else, and doesn't want me to go upstairs. I get upset after that happens. What can I say or do to get away from this? The only reason I go to their house is to do laundry, but then she says to come downstairs and play, but I tell her that I go upstairs to do Laundry. Please give me a serious answer, even though the question may sound funny.

There is this girl that i care about but, she doesn't feel the same way. What do i do? I've tried to move on but, it hurts so much seeing her alone everyday with no friends. I've tried talking to her but she isn't extremly social at all. I see her 3 or 4 times a day in the hall and every now and then she'll be with someone but almost never. Just seeing her face when going to class makes me go nuts. I care about her so much and she doesn't believe me, or she doesn't care. I have no clue what to do, or how to even approach her to talk with out getting all nervous. I just find it so hard to walk away and dismiss these feelings as nothing and she's so willing just to turn her back and walk away. I don't know if it's even worth the frustration of having to go threw this emotionaly any more. I torture myself all the time over her. During class when I'm bored, right now, at work, when I hear a semi romantic song on the radio I immediantly remember her and start thinking of her again.

When my husband goes out to hang out with his friends he usually comes home around 3:30 am but I think that is too late. When I go out I try to get back in between 1 am - 2:00 am but usually earlier than that. Sometimes he has come home between 4 am - 5 am always with some BS excuse why he is coming in so late so my question is, what time is a respectable time for a married person to come home?

I love this little girl. She is my first grandchild but I am getting horrible negative feedback from other family members. My other son (who is actually her favorite uncle) has said she has no manners and won't even answer him at times. My daughter thinks she is a devil-child who is totally manipulative and only does or says nice things when she wants something.
This is breaking my heart because I want everyone to love her as I do. We have a very close bond and she confides a lot of things to me (such as the other kids in school don't like her). But even with me, she refuses to say hello to me on the phone because "she's busy".
I wish we lived closer so that I could see her more and help her deal with her problems.
Any suggestions?

I'm asking this question for my sister, she's in love with someone else and want a divorce. Even though her husband knows that she is, he refused to let her go.

So when I was in grade like 6,7, and 8 I was friends with the popular girls, but then they turned into total bitches and I left them cause i so wasn't into that. So i got into a group of new friends and they were great, nice people. Then, I started to become friends with this one girl which is my "best friend" now. So, I was getting really close to this girl but then she got jelous of me and got mad whenever I did anything with my other friends, but she was like my best friend and i was stupid then and stoped hanging out with my other friends... anyway now I'm in grade 11 and she is my only friend, but she is becoming really mean. She'll talk about people behind their backs and they think she is so nice, and she even insults me to my face. She lies sooo much to everyone around her, and gets mad over little things like she came into class late one time and i was busy and didn't sat hi, and she got so mad at me. We both are really shy people, and now everyone already has their groups

I just found out a couple of weeks ago that my husband had been cheating on me with his "other babymama" when I was pregnant with our son. I was very upset and made him leave the house but now he's really upset with me and I dont understand why when he's the cheater!! He left and is now seeing other women...(which I found out from looking at his Myspace). Why is he doing such things?

When I suspected my husband of possibly cheating with an ex-girlfriend, I told him if I ever caught him coming out of her house, that I would be packing his bags and bringing them over her house. So on several occassions, he has brought up that if I ever put him out, that he wasn't coming back. The nerve of him for trying to make me feel guilty for him cheating and lying. Was he using reverse psychology, to make me accept this bullcrap..Who cares if he doesn't come back I put him out anyway. :)

I'm a guy and I don't mind it one bit, the more skin the better but I hate it when they use halloween as an excuse to be slutty, like being a slut is costume. I don't want to hear how they want men to respect them when the majority of them just want attention from dressing so slutty. If you don't want guys to look down on your clevages then cover it. Wear a mask at least with those slutty outfits!

My Uncle was in a Motorcycle accident in 1998 several yards from home. His wife declined a trust that his job wanted to set up for his rehabilitation. Then shortly after filed for divorce because he was in her words "not the same man she married."
My family has been taking care of him since this time. We have never felt that he was in any way a burden and still do not. His doctors have advised us that now he needs an upgrade for his wheelchair. This will cost several thousand dollars and we can't afford it at this time. We are just looking for some Organizations that will help us to fund the upgrades. We are not looking for any money just the upgrade of equipment that he needs. In what ever form it can be provided.

I just confirmed that my fiance is cheating or is planning to do so. We have combined accounts, pay rent together etc (we live together). I have 2 hours before he gets home. I don't know where to start. I want to be fair. I'm not going to take all his money. But I do need to protect myself. Any suggestions?

How many grandparents out there are guilty of treating one set of grandkids differently than another. Say, treating your daughters kids differently than your son's kids? How do you justify this?
My inlaws treat my sister in law's children totally different! They watch them all the time, buy them EVERYTHING they ask for, but never buy my kids anything unless it's a bday or whatever. They spend all their time with the other grandkids and never any time with my kids! When my kids play sports, I have to BEG them to come to a game... and I'm lucky if I get one game attended per season. One year, I coached a sport, and got my nephew on my team... Miraculously, my inlaws were at EVERY GAME! Because my nephew was there. How wrong is this?! I HATE IT! I feel like my children (3, 8 and 13) are looking at themselves and saying "why don't they love me the same?"... It's terrible!
We all live in the same town within blocks of each other, and the kids go to school together also...

So I'm good friends with this guy Brandon at my school. We never used to be friends until we both got enrolled in this program for teens that are good at visual arts. He drove me a couple times seeing as I don't have a car, so we were spending whole days together. We got to be friends and had lots of inside jokes and laughs together.

It never hit me until yesterday that I liked him. We were at a halloween dance, and he wasn't really dancing with anyone because he has a girlfriend in Arizona. I told him to just dance with me as a friend, that it wouldn't mean anything. And thats what i thought. So he jokingly put his hands on my shoulders and my hands were on his, and we danced to a slow song. BAM then it hit me. I liked him.

I thought he liked me too until he got a girlfriend...

Classic eh?

So what should I do about it?

Recently got out of a great relationship a few weeks ago. Nothing bad contributed to the break-up, no cheating, no abuse, etc, more of me wanting it to go somewhere and him not wanting to commit or "get serious." (both 25) We were both sad but decided we want different things. Now he is with someone else. She has a better body than me and she's younger. We don't live in a small town but we run around in the same circles and somehow, everyone knows everyone and everything gets back to me.

I for one have NOT moved on after three weeks and am still in love. So how do you move on after you know the person you love is with someone else? I have a life, I stay busy, I go out with friends, but everything gets back to me and i KNOW i will bump into them sooner or later. I just feel hurt and used and discarded like I was nothing to him and surprised he has apparently moved on so quickly.

(please no rude answers... I'm sad enough as is)
