The girl that approaches the guy is more likely to end-up with a date.

The girl that lets it be known that she likes "so and so" and lets the whiff of interest waft through the grapevine is less likely to end-up with a date, but on the plus side, is less likely to be turned down flat.

i think that the person that likes someone should say it themselves cuz if the person they like get telled there liked by that person the guy or girl might think they have confidence and might get asked out. thats what i did if u needed confidence. good luck!!
