So I'm good friends with this guy Brandon at my school. We never used to be friends until we both got enrolled in this program for teens that are good at visual arts. He drove me a couple times seeing as I don't have a car, so we were spending whole days together. We got to be friends and had lots of inside jokes and laughs together.
It never hit me until yesterday that I liked him. We were at a halloween dance, and he wasn't really dancing with anyone because he has a girlfriend in Arizona. I told him to just dance with me as a friend, that it wouldn't mean anything. And thats what i thought. So he jokingly put his hands on my shoulders and my hands were on his, and we danced to a slow song. BAM then it hit me. I liked him.
I thought he liked me too until he got a girlfriend...
Classic eh?
So what should I do about it?

I did dance with other people... but I didn't like them. I guess I did think about it before the dance, but not as seriously or as much as i do now.

Sounds like you have a great guy friend! Just respect the fact that he has a girlfriend. At your age, girlfriends and boyfriends come and go...there may come a point in time where he is not with his girlfriend anymore and something more may come between the two of you. Great friendships however, can last a lifetime. Just enjoy his friendship and you never know what will happen...only time will tell!

Telling him will do more good than telling Y!A. Ask him out for an evening. Since you have already told him that you want to be a friend, he may have ruled you out as a mate. Once he knows where you are coming from, then that may ignite the spark.
Good luck with it.

I wouldn't worry about it, sounds like you are just fickle. If you really liked him you would have thought about it before..... dance with someone else and you will like them.
The only thing classic about it is your liking someone that you knew had a girlfriend.. some girls are so afraid of being rejected they only get crushes on guys they can 't have.. thats Classic.

You should tell him how you feel. Maybe he feels the same way since you two are so close. If he likes you, don't get all excited about it. Remember if he does like you and brakes up with his girlfriend, wait about a year. You don't want to be the rebound girlfriend.

That is real friendship. Understanding each other's feelngs is very much necessary in friendship, without hurting ones ego.U danced with him made him happy in the time when he was feeling for her girlfriend. Goodluck, go ahead with yr friendship.

First, you must find out how serious his relationship with his girlfriend is, then whether or not he returns your feelings. Tread carefully that you don't ruin the friendship if nothing else comes of it.

you need to relly stay friends, Until the day comes, when he tells you he dosen't have a girlfriend, leave it up to him to make the first move, and you don't need to start being use by this guy, because his girlfriend lives out of town? stay just friends or move on!!!!!!!

I would lay all my cards on the table. A "Do you feel that way too?" moment if ever there was one. Be brave. Be ready to be embarrassed if he doesn't. But that's the being brave part, isn't it.

Well, he already has a girlfriend, but that doesn't mean that she can't be replaced. Don't forget, "all's fair in love and war".
