i can't fit a BOYFRIEND in to my busy life. I'm in love with my best friend and i don't think she doesn't loves me the same way...
i spend 90% of my time with her and i'm satisfied with that (hence the no desire to find a boyfriend)
because she fills my life with joy and gives me a sense of meaning and momentum to push forward.

do i break away from her(the one i love with my entire heart or do i stay and someday love will find me)

Not necessarily snobs but just girls who won't take **** from you or anyone else. Or do you prefer the quiet girls who let people put them down?

My husband quite his job and the employees and boss gave him a party, they got him a cake and card, 99% of the people wrote good luck and just signed their name, but there was one that hit me the wrong way - Here is what she wrote-
I know that you'll exceed in anything you do!
Luv ya,
and then she signed her name.....

I have work in a lot of places and I have signed alot of co-workers cards when they've left work, but I've never signed their card with Luv ya and I never seen any other women sign a married man's cards that way either..

my husband's always told me that he only hung out with a few "guys" at work...........
so on that note, I'm just wanting the opinion of some other women

I'm aware of a woman who recently got married, but hasn't stopped calling her ex-boyfriend. I'm neither the husband nor the ex-boyfriend, just someone aware of the situation. Her husband doesn't know about it even though the ex-boyfriend wants her to tell him because he wants to remain friends with her, but not disrupt the marriage. The reason he's an "ex" is not because they fell out of love, but he wasn't in a position to commit to her when she wanted a commitment and she moved on to her current husband. My guess is that the woman is still emotionally attached to the ex and by telling her husband she still talks to him, the hubbie would probably order her to stop. She knows she shouldn't be talking to him, but she doesn't want to stop either. Either way not a great situation.

What do others think about her motives and why she won't tell the hubbie that she wants to remain friends with the ex, but has no intention of reconnecting with him or cheating.

My husband and I have been married 10 years, together for 13. He has a condition he takes medication for. If he doesn't take it, he gets abusive (never struck us, just called names and yells). We have two boys under 10, and I hate that they see it, too. I keep his medicine full, and in a good place for him to take it, but sometimes he forgets, and when he gets home, he gets mad a little things, and starts yelling and calling me names. When I get upset back at him, it's all my fault. Our children see this, and I hate it. My husband is a hard-working man, a great father and wonderful most of the time, but I can't stand to see this happen again. I just don't know if leaving is the solution.

My step-child has very, very poor hygiene habits. At 17 years old he'll wear the same clothes for a couple of days or clothes he knows are dirty, rarely brushes his teeth, his bathing habits are very cursory, he picks his nose and wipes under the couch, sticks gum to the underside of the kitchen table, somehow there were maggots in his laundry, and treats our home like his personal garbage dump.

My husband says that I have to help him with this problem, but he is very inconsistent and very often isn't paying attention. Very often this means that its going to be my responsibility to address the issue consistently.

If we talk to him, try to keep him consistent with his hygiene and personal standards, he calls him Mom to come get him. She does not understand why he's like this, but she also doesn't do anything about it and insists everyone be nice to him.

Any suggestions? 'cause I'm lost.

How do you know when someone is truely sorry? If someone doesn't take responsibility for what they have done and constantly deflects the blame and maybe even blames the innocent party for the reason they acted badly to begin with and makes excuses and justifications for what they have done......can they even be a little sorry or is it all BS to get the issue over with...what do you do when you realize someone who has hurt you deeply doesn't even feel bad for it and all the attempts at "apologizing" are clearly half hearted. And how do you react when they get mad that you don't accept their apology and forget about it?

I really feel the need to call him but fear that he won't answer my call. Don't get it, he said he liked my looks and I am not a nasty person. I contacted him last with no response. He came to visit me and left early (4 hour flight) without letting me know. The visit was painful because he was always going to leave. Does he not feel anything?

My mom asked me to check her cell for a text from my aunt. But instead, I came across a sent message to one of my friends which read: hi Courtney, this is Diane's mother. I'm planning a surprise birthday party for her this friday and I need your help to contact the rest of her friends..

I stopped reading there, but now I already know abt it. What should I do? Act as if nothing has happened or tell my mom now, before this friday at my party??But if I tell her I already know, then wouldn't she feel as though everything has been a waste??

Do men who have smoked or do smoke a lot of pot have trouble with erections? My boyfriend I believe does and when he does get an erection, it is always a semi one and can't satisfy me when we have actual intercourse.

My mother is in her 80's and her partner of 10 years is in his late 70's, flirts with women behind her back, and makes arrangements to meet up with them. One of her friends revealed this to her as he made a pass at her also. He ignores her when they go to gatherings and he always looks for a second opinion when she suggests her opinion about anything. I have told her what I think but maybe this is from a younger perspective, she is very frustrated as he only behaves like a live in housekeeper, any suggestions? would be appreciated.

I'm 19, never had a girlfriend (much less kissed a girl) and whenever I'm around a girl I'm interested in I get this really self-conscious feeling, clam up, and become really nervous. Does anybody have any ideas as to what I could do to help with my confidence. It's really tough because whenever I like a girl I'm way too shy to take any sort of initiative, my fear takes over at the sight of any opportunities and gets me running in the other direction (not literally). The frustrating part is that this prevents me from even progressing enough to even ask a girl out, or often times I avoid them and these situations totally. Please, any advice, I'm sick and tired of my love life being held hostage by my fear.

Been married nearly 20 years. My husband and I seem to have grown apart over the last 2 years. I still love him, but I just don't like him very much any more. I'm not "in love" with him. I just don't seem to have the same feelings I did for him when it comes to intimacy. He thinks I'm cheating because I don't want to have sex with him. But it's just because I don't feel close to him anymore. I don't feel like he cares about my wants, needs and well being, so I guess over time, we've just kind of withdrawn from each other. He shows no affection to me, unless he wants sex. Hasn't told me he loves me in months. I can't talk to him about my feelings because he becomes irate and turns things around and blames me for our problems.

I've sat and cried over this for days, weeks. Part of me wants a divorce, but part of me wants to stay with him, as we have a lot of years invested in this marriage, and we have two teen children.

Advice and suggestions please?
