My fiance and I decided to take some dance lessons prior to our wedding so that we could figure out what to do during our first dance. I'm very happy with our decision because it has made him feel much more comfortable with dancing in front of everyone.

However, our instructor recommonded that we cut the song from 4 minutes to just over 2 minutes to make it easier on the both of us. I'm not completely opposed to the idea but wanted to get everyones thoughts as to whether or not that is too short.

I know my fiance will like it as he is very shy about the whole first dance thing but I don't want to look back and think "it went so quick!" Any suggestions?

My hubby and i have been married almost 3.5 years now and its been very rocky. We met while we were both sill in college i was a freshman and he was going for his masters both of us were huge animal lovers so everything seemed perfect. We got married after i graduaed and thats when trouble started. My hubby is a workacholic and thats his obsession. While we were dating though he made time for me but when we got married i got pushed aside. He started traveling alot, doing anything to advance his career, staying out late, and spending 2 nights a week in the city.Unbeknownst to me he was also becoming an alcoholic and becoming addicted to prescription drugs to keep him awake or put him to sleep. After 8-9months of marriage he just up and left after a melt down because he was fiered because of a female co-worker i'm not sure of the particulars. He told me he was sick of people esp.women so for 6 months during which divorce papers were filed i had no clue where he was...

I recently broke up with my fiance.. after dating for over 2 years.. we just couldnt seem to agree on disagreeing..if that makes since to anyone. We are still friends and talk everyday. We havent come to a complete decision on what needs to be done in our failing relationship. He moved out of our apt. on friday. I am sooo lonely and have absolutly nothing to do during the week or on the weekends. All my friends are married, have a man, and have kids. I dont have kids and now dont have a man. I dont even know where to start as far as meeting new people and having something to do and not just sitting at home on the evenings and weekends... where do I start?

My fiance and I are having a hard time thinking of ways to spend time together without breaking the bank.

We'd like to spend more time at home, just the two of us... but we get bored quickly and always end up going out to visit friends and spending money. Not only are we slowly driving ourselves poor by doing this... but we're not having that quality alone time that we think we need. It's hurting our relationship... and our wallets.

Any suggestions on ways to spend time together without spending a lot of money, and without just sitting at home watching television?

I have nothing to hide I just hate the idea of her watching my every move. There will be converstaions with friends that are personal. She obviously has trust issues but i'd really rather not let her have it.

I am tired of always having to email this guy 1st, but when we do start, he always emails back. Other than this I think he is interested in me.

It was my last day at work on Friday, and I didn't email him all week (like I said, tired of having to always go first), I gave in and emailed on Thurs and said 'Its the best week, being my last week at work, how come you didn't email?'.

He replied, and said he wanted to email me on the last/best day (the Friday). My response was 'yeah right, I am smart you know'. Which he then replied 'Y do u say that, I was going to email you', we chatted briefly. The next day, he did email, with the subject line 'happy last day at work'.

Was I too harsh? U have to understand I am quite fed up of always starting emails, and am thinking that if a guy was interested, he wouldn't always leave it to the girl.. right?

I met a man, much older than me, who openly told me he was schizo. I risked and changed so much of my life to conform to his beliefs of me, and what I should be to him.

He lives an hours drive away. I used to go up to visit, but was never allowed at his home. Instead we'd go at it in the back seat in a carpark or on the street.
He then has the nerve to call me a whore and a cheat and a slut for doing so- when I was only going alone with what HE wanted.

I already feel like a stupid whore for letting it go on for so long. Deal is...

I thought thats what he wanted.
But then he calls me a whore??

I want to break up with my boyfriend. We have been together for 5 years. And I'm not happy anymore. The problem is the jeep that he drives is in my name and I still owe for it. And He doesn't have any credit to get it in his name. So, if we break up. He wouldn't have a way back and forth to work. I don't want him to lose his job because of me. Am I being stupid? should I even care about what happens to him after we break up?

My fiancée, whom I dated for 4 years broke up with me in June, stating that she needed to find herself. It has been 5 months now and haven’t talked to my fiancée in 2 months, and I have started dating a new girl, which is going really well, except recently all I can think about is my fiancée and how much I miss her. What is worse is that the new girl, lives in the apartment building directly across the street in NYC from my fiancée. I need help, I want to move on but I miss my fiancée more than anything

There's this guy that always says "That's racist!" to everything someone says...as simple as "Oh yea I was talking to Emily the other day..." and he blurts out "that's racist!" EVERYDAY. What's a good comeback to make him shut up?

I am 25 and moving out. It is difficult for me to support myself because I earn little, butme and my parents we don't get along that well.

My parents bought me a PC in 2007, and not they say I can't take it with me to my new house, even though they gave it to me as a birthday present. Furthermore, because of this present they bought me nothing else for my birthday or Christmas for years.

Is this the way in which good parents behave?

I am a very sexual person that loves to experiment and have fun sexually. I have caught my husband on MANY occassions masterbating to porn and it hurts me so bad. I have cried many tears and begged him to stop but he keeps doing it anyways. One of the biggest reasons that it hurts me is because he is not having sex with me. I will try to get him to do it with me I am even willing to watch porn with him and do it for him but he says no. He will even go weeks without having sex with me and I will try to turn him on by dressing up or throwing him on the bed he will turn me down and i will go to sleep only to wake up in the middle of the night to him masterbating to porn agian and he just turned me down that night! I am very unsatisfied in bed since i like to have sex 5 times a day if i can get it. I am attractive i modeled for a company till i quite to move with him down south. What am I doing wrong? Doesnt he care that this hurts me so much? It feels like he is cheating is he? Am i wrong

What are people's thoughts on financially supporting parents? I was lucky enough to go to college and become financially independent. I lived better than my parents, and tried to help them out from time to time. My mom got cancer and as a result I supported them even more. I ended up being a full time caregiver to her for 6 months. Now that she is passed on I find myself finacially reeling from the ordeal. Only it get's worse. Now that my dad has only a SS check and no savings whatsoever, I pay all his bills and loans. I am going into serious debt trying to do what I think is right. But is it? My dad can't claim bankruptcy because they already did once. Now I am just bitter at life in general and partly wishing I had just ran away from it all.

My wife and I have been together for 3 years have a 9 month old child. I feel like we are roommates. We hardly talk unless we are away from home. We argue most of the time. I work 7 days a week and when I come home and just want to relax she has a problem with that. She calls my name constantly until it makes me a nervous wreck. When I'm at work she calls my phone all the time. my job requires me to move product on and off my truck and she wants me to stop and talk to her. And if I don't she gets an attitude and wants to argue. When I tell her I have to go, she hangs up and calls right back. She tells me she loves me and want to be with me but that kind of love I don't need if she continues to make me feel miserable. She never see her wrong only mine. She has ansiety and won't take her medicine. Sometimes she can be the sweetest person and then she can just turn into a totally different person yelling and screaming. She keeps the house in a mess won't pick up, won't clean up. Help?

I've just confirmed a date with a woman I've met for this coming weekend ... we met about a month ago and this will be our second date ... we're going to a concert. Being the perfect gentleman that I am (ha ha ...), I will be providing the transportation. Now, what I wonder is what is second date protocol in the way of flowers? Is it too early yet to present her a bouquet? I'd steer clear of the roses this early in the game, but what might be more appropriate?
