I just have to tell you this: The first thing I thought of when I read your question was the country song that goes "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?".
Most people, I think it would make them feel really good to hear that someone thinks they look beautiful.

honestly i think " um ok lame-o just used the same ol' line every other guy since the dawn of time has used".......... if you really want to get her attention look at what she is wearing and comment on that not to much or shell think your gay just say something kinda dorky and kinda sweet like " killer boots man" if she doesnt get it then be like "you know from dumb and dumber, but really those are some sweet kicks" girls are afraid for looking dorky so if you show her you have a little dorky in you she will be more willing to talk to you

Really, compare yourself to the women in Hollywood and in men's magazines... Men think they are perfect and the most beautiful women in the world.

Sometimes girls can be very unsure of how they look, so when you call them beautiful you make feel really good- you can make their day.

when im told im beautiful i think "wow you really think so?" and its like its a whole new world and me and that person are the only people on the planet but if i dont like the person im thinking " wtf did you just say!"so it depends on the person and the mind of the girl so if you like some one walk up to her and say that if she give syou a wierd face shes thinkin "wtf" if she smiles and says thanx then she says " awww how nice!" so go for it wut do you have to lose!

well she likes being called that for one thing. when i guy tells me that i think that he's being sweet. of course that is what girls like being called. girls like being complimented.
