My Nephew is 6 years old. And in 1st grade.
So my Half's sister's, sister has custody of my Nephew (my sister doesnt)
If her sister has Custody of My Nephew, can't my sister still see him? Will i ever get to see my 6 year old Nephew?

I love my nephew, i want to spend some quality time with him and my sister. I have no idea if ill ever see him. What can i do?
Should i talk to my sister about this?

Not knowing the whole situation but if the half sister has court order custody of your nephew and the court didn't put anything in there about not being able to deal with the child then you and your sister should be able to see him. If she is not letting you see him I would strongly suggest your sister file an order for visitation rights so that you and your sister can spend time with him.

Good Luck!

Isn't your half sister's sister your half sister?

anyway. I would talk to the person who has custody and just ask. Say " I would love to come see my nephew. He is such a nice boy" There has to be a reason your half sister does not have custody. I would seperate your visit from your half sister in case the woman who has custody hates her.

You sister does not have custody of the child she can not legally determine who can and can not see the child. Talk with your half- sisters sister. She is the one that can grant or deny you access to the child.

Aw.
Yeah, you definitely need to talk to your sister about this. More importantly, whoever has custody of him, your half sister's sister.
The longer you wait, the older he'll get.
I have a 7 month neice, and I couldnt imagine not know ing her. It must be hard for you.
Good luck!

You can call your sister's sister and express your desire to spend time with your nephew.

I don't know if your sister can still see her son or not.... i don't know the details of her situation.

YOu may need to talk to your sis about it, because if someone else has custody, they don't have to let you see him, I know that sucks. Have you tried talking to the person who has custody and see if they would let you spend time with him? If your sis is not on good grounds with the custodial parents then you might want to go to them yourself.

I have a similar situation. My mom has custody of my children due to me being stupid 12 years ago. She has had them and my brother's boys for a while now, and I have yet to meet the boys. I pray that someday, when my mother can see that I am (and have been) a good person, we can meet. I'll pray that it happens with you, too.
